Author's Note: Hi guys! *Waves* It's honestly been a while since I last wrote Miraculous Ladybug *I mean yes there's the other one where I didn't finish but shh* but after watching recent new episodes and man, they're actually getting better and better (something tells me it's going to be the final showdown for HawkMoth), I got an idea. So, without further ado, let's get started!

Summary: Inspired by Queen Bee's episodes. Gabriel Agreste will do anything to bring back his wife. Even if it means hurting the one thing that is closest to him.

Chapter 1: A Gloomy Day

The sky turned grey as the clouds rolled in together; they too were grey which indicated that it was going to rain soon. The streets were filled with citizens who were hurrying to get off the road so they could reach home before the rain comes. Others, they didn't really care much about the weather.

Thud. Stomp. Grunt.

A figure whooshed from rooftop to rooftop, jumping and twirling as it was getting to the necessary spot. It then stopped, looking around the streets to make sure it was safe before he went through the open window, landing on his knee. The green color started to vaporize away, finally revealing the true appearance.

If one didn't understand what was going on, they would probably freak out as they wonder as to why there was a small black creature with big greenish yellow eyes, resembling like a cat.

The creature gave a yawn, stretching himself as he floated in mid-air.

"Normally, the battles don't exhaust me but this one managed to tire me out," the cat-like creature said.

The boy beside him rolled his eyes. "Everything tires you out, Plagg."

The cat, Plagg, shrugged. "Well, I can't help it. I mean, transforming you into your alter ego, calling upon the powers…it takes a lot of energy," he rambled. "But, despite all that! I'm ready for some Camembert!"

"And of course, you're always hungry," the boy muttered annoyed. "There's some in the kitchen. I'll be back."

"Oh goody!"

Adrien rolled his eyes at his Kwami. Sometimes, he can be considerate and not annoying but other times, not so much. But to be honest though, if there was one thing where he and Plagg can agree on something, it would be that he rather was tired as well. That Akuma battle took longer than it should but thankfully, he and his partner, Ladybug, cleansed the evil and restored peace.

For the while, anyway.

It will be peaceful until the villainous enemy, Hawk Moth, would awaken and stir up trouble. Adrien wondered if there would be a time, where he and his fellow Heroine, would ever get a chance to face against Hawk Moth. Where it would be the final showdown.

Thinking about that made Adrien shiver. Of course, if that time would ever come, they'd better be prepared for the worst but as of now, their main concern is to have the citizens safe and be returned to their original state.

Adrien opened the fridge and there, on the third shelf, it revealed the stinky half-round cheese of what the Kwami was talking about. Adrien was still trying to figure out how he could ever love the stinky cheese.

The smell honestly reminded him of rotten eggs.

Ugh.

Regardless though, the cheese was soft and creamy as well as being moist. As mentioned before, the aroma gave out the moment Adrien opened the door. He made a disgusted face, plugging his nose with his fingers as he grabbed a small piece for his Kwami. Even though it was small for him, it will look big for Plagg.

If there was a competition for who would eat the most cheese, Plagg would certainly win.

Shaking his head, Adrien grabbed a small plate where he had put the piece of cheese and then walked out of the kitchen. The hall was eerily quiet yet again that didn't bother Adrien.

He had gotten used to it.

The only time it would actually be 'full' if Nathalie were to be here, letting Adrien know what would be on his schedule. And as always, his father, Gabriel Agreste, was nowhere to be seen. And that would always made Adrien wonder as to where he would be all the time.

Adrien eventually concluded his thoughts as he eventually reached his room and closed the door. Of course, the Kwami smelled the aroma since he made a mad dash by flying towards the yummy smell.

In his case, anyway.

"Ahh, finally. You brought to me!" Plagg exclaimed.

Adrien shook his head. "I was only gone for like fifteen minutes, Plagg."

"Which felt like an eternity to me," Plagg responded as he took the cheese and happily indulge the smelly food.

"So…what's on the agenda today?" Plagg asked for a short silent; his mouth full from the cheese.

Adrien slightly scowled from the disgusting gesture but he shrugged. "I don't know. I haven't really thought of it. I guess nothing."

Plagg paused. "Uhm, you can play on your piano? That's one of your homework—er chore er task—anyway."

"Piano can wait for another time. I've already mastered the required songs."

"Okay so…ooo, I know!" Plagg exclaimed, delighted. "You could write a love poem for your sweet Ladybug where you state in your letter how you adore her and cherish her forever even though she will constantly bring you down, crushing your endless pointless love."

Thunk!

"I was eating!" Plagg shouted, a muffled one, as he suddenly found himself squashed like a bug from the unexpected pillow which got thrown at him.

Adrien smirked. "Tragedy," he slyly grinned.

At last, Plagg got out from the pillow but then gasped when he heard Adrien.

"Tragedy?" Plagg spluttered. "Oh! I could've choked! I could've died! You hurt my feelings, my pride! Oh my poor broken heart…" Plagg dramatically sobbed.

Adrien gave out an annoyed growl. "Cut the drama."

Plagg fake sniffed but then he changed his expression. "Hey, by the way, since you rarely see your father, what do you think he's doing right now?" he suddenly brought up the subject.

The blonde boy raised an eyebrow. "Why do you want to know?"

Plagg shrugged. "It's not me who wants to know. It's you who wants to know. Admit it; every day you come from school, being your miserable weepy self, ("I'm not weepy!" Adrien muttered angrily) but then your father is not there. Not even there to greet you like how every father should do. Don't you want to know more on what he does during his spare time? Hmm…"

Adrien paused. He's got to admit. His cat-like Kwami has a point. Besides, Adrien always wanted to know why his father is so cold…so distant…

"For getting my curiosity arise, you got a point but I do not appreciate for a stalker being so close to my face! Plagg, get away from my face!" Adrien shouted indignantly since the Kwami was indeed close to his face.

"Alright, alright. No need to be so angry."

In large semi dark room, a figure stood where the light had shone. The room was decorated with plain walls that held lit lanterns. It seemed to have black fences that stretched to the very end. Even though the fences were blank, it still held some sort of elegance. Ahead of the room was a large window with a butterfly-like patterns to it. Up at the front, bushes got laid from both side and in the middle of the sacred nest, a glass-like coffin was nestle in the center.

There, in the coffin, was a young blonde-haired woman who closed her eyes, resting for eternity. Her arms rested against her, never being able to move as she was donned in all white with a black blouse. There was a single red rose upon her left chest. She seemed to sleep in ease since there wasn't a slightest disturbance in her death.

The man held a heavy expression upon seeing the woman. He had missed her dearly and he wished he could see her alive for just one more time. He would do anything for her. Anything for her to come back.

"She looks so peaceful," a soft voice said as it broke the silence.

The man paid no mind to the little critter. He knew he was beside him.

"Yes, she does, NooRoo (1)," Gabriel muttered.

The purple Kwami spoke again. "You seem to be deep in thought, Master."

"I am," Gabriel answered. "I was just thinking…on how to bring back her alive."

The Kwami gasped. "Master?"

"You heard right," Gabriel spoke softly. "These Miraculouses of what we contain. They all hold immense power. If one were to collect all of these treasured items…"

"B—but that would only cause chaos, Mas—"

"Silence, NooRoo!" Gabriel narrowed his eyes darkly.

NooRoo's face fell. "Yes, Master."

"If I were to gain these precious items, I would gain all of the power and I would be able to bring back my wife," Gabriel spoke softly at the end.

Oh, how he longed to see her once more.

"All it takes is a one simple spell…" Gabriel replied. "And Emilie will stand by me once more."

Authors Note: You know…you gotta feel sorry for Gabriel. All he wanted was to bring back his wife :/ but of course, that would cause many consequences. But just how far will he go? What will happen next? Find out! Toodles!
