This one shot happens during CoM,
Celeana stared at the blond man, he looked familiar, but she couldn't quite place him. "Wolf." The king had called him. She had heard of the great general that fought the king's wars, but hadn't placed a face to the name. He stared back at her, she averted her eyes. The Wolf looked away and talked to the woman on his right. His eyes reminded Celeana of her own. The captain of the guard walked up behind Adarland's Assassin, "Celeana. What are you doing here?" he asked her. She turned and looked at the young captain, "nothing. Let's go." They had come to this party to scope out archer's lifestyle. Celeana didn't even see archer himself. She turned around, her light orange dress twirling with her, when she felt a hand on her arm. "Would you mind a dance? Or are you taken for the night?" he asked, glancing at Chaol. I looked to Chaol, who nodded and melted into the shadows. "I am free for one dance." She said, taking his hand. He whirled Celeana around to the music, her face flushed by the time the dance ended. "I must go." She said quietly. He held fast to Celeana's hips, his breath hot on her neck. "Surely you could at least tell me your name?" he asked. Celeana looked him in the eyes; he was too drunk to remember it. "Aelin." She whispered and shot out of his arms. She ran past all the party-goers, up the stairs, and stared down at him. He was furiously looking around, trying to find her. He wouldn't. He shoved the people out of the way and ran out the door, Celeana followed him.
The Wolf was talking to Chaol, "Asking about me." Celeana thought. Chaol shook his head and pointed towards the alley. The man patted him on the shoulder and ran down the dark alley. "Any reason 'The Wolf of the North' wants to speak with you?" Chaol asked Celeana on the way back to the castle. "You'll find out soon enough." she grinned and ran ahead of him.
