Elsa shifted uncomfortably on the bed she and her girlfriend shared. For many years, they had been dating, but never before had they gone farther than a heated kiss.
Elsa was sure she was ready to progress forward, now.
She tensed further when she heard Anna's voice grow louder as she neared the bedroom. She bunched the sheets up in her hands, biting her lip.
Anna bounded in, before plopping down beside Elsa, causing the bed to creak slightly. She beamed up at Elsa, her forest green eyes sparkling slightly. Elsa hesitated, before returning a small smile.
Anna sat up, briefly bringing their lips together. She pulled away too soon for Elsa's taste, crawling across their bed, untucking the covers.
Elsa bit her lip, before practically lunging across the bed to stop Anna's movements. The redhead looked at her in confusion.
"What's wrong, Elsa?" she asked.
Elsa's hand claimed Anna's, as her eyes focused on the bedspread. A blush overtook her features. "I think...I think I'm ready...for us to...you know..."
Anna blinked, before breaking out into a large smile. She wrapped her arms around Elsa almost immediately, engaging themselves in a kiss that was far more heated than anything they had ever done before.
They laid down on the bed, pulling each other close as the kiss grew stronger. Both of their movements became almost desperate, as they came closer and closer together.
Anna turned them about, so she was mostly resting on Elsa. Her hands picked at Elsa's clothes, wanting that small barrier to disappear.
That was when Elsa froze. She ceased to move, even though Anna continued to work towards them coming together for the first time.
Elsa separated her mouth from Anna's, quietly whimpering, "Anna..."
Immediately Anna pulled back, looking down at Elsa worriedly. "What's wrong?"
Elsa opened her mouth to speak again, but shame overtook her. She turned her head away, blushing.
Anna blinked, confused, before it dawned on her. She smiled, climbing off Elsa, and laying down beside her. Elsa looked at her in confusion.
"What are you doing?" the blond asked, confused.
Anna merely sighed contentedly, pulling Elsa to her in a comforting hug. "It's okay to not be ready."
Elsa's eyes widened, before a small smile graced her lips. She closed her eyes, hugging Anna back. "Thank you. I love you."
"I love you, too," Anna whispered back.
A/N Look! Cute shortness! And with a wonderful message: It's okay to not be ready.
