There came a day each year where the Gods all came together to discuss the next year. This day was big to the Gods and they planned in advance for it. There were dances weeks before the day and feasts were put on. The mortals liked to refer to this day as the longest day of the year for, we all know, Gods disagree about everything. In the great year Aphrodite stated a proposition to the Gods about two lovers, who despite all odds had preserved their sense of humility and love while everything worked against them. "Let's reward these two!" stated the love goddess and while everyone didn't take her seriously, they listened to her speech. "For many years we have seen darkened souls enter hades. For many years we've seen souls become light and good. This is no thanks to the two. They've done more work to try and save the mortals than any other mortal I've ever seen. I'd say they've almost beaten Hercules. So, why not reward them with a gift… A child, who created by the Gods and conceived through them, will carry on their love for humanity." Of course no cart taken is big enough for everyone and most of the Gods thought she had gone crazy! But Aphrodite continued until all the Gods agreed. So, Zeus made a mold of a soul and had each God or Goddess put a piece of them inside. Ares slipped a blade in the mold, while Poseidon put a fish and some water into the mold. But alas with every crowd of people there must be one monster. Only this one was green: jealousy arrived into the mind of a God of all the power this child of the Gods would have so, when his time came mortality went into the mold and with it the last bit of piece within the Gods. For a few years later after the child was born did the Gods start the Great War.
