A/N: Really short piece but I couldn't bring myself to expand on it anymore than this. I wrote this a few months ago before I really got into Bleach so forgive it if it doesn't seem to be in character.

"Yumichika! What are you doing?" Isane called as she watched as the dark-haired man ran through the corridors ahead of her; it seemed like he was purposely trying to allude her presence.

"You'll have to catch me to find out!" Yumichika shouted back at her before he disappeared around the nearest corner.

She sighed almost with an irritated tone before she flash-stepped her way through the long corridor. And even then he managed to remain out of her sight. How the hell was he moving so fast? She tried to push her speed just a bit and barely managed to catch a glimpse of him just as he pushed open a door and stepped outside into darkness. Without thinking, she followed right up as the door swung back and caught it in one hand before she dashed out after him. The first thing she registered was the hard rain drops falling from the dark clouds above them; the second thing was him standing just a couple of yards from her reach.

"It's raining..." she whispered; stepping back slightly to stand under the shelter of the door frame. "What are you doing outside? It's raining! You're going to get sick!"

"Doubt it!" he grinned as his hair started to get matted down from the rain; even his feathers were starting to droop a bit. "Come on! It's not that bad out here!"

"Yeah well, getting sick is bad!" she argued before she settled her hands on her hips. "Besides, isn't it ruining your hair anyways?"

"Well..." he started; holding out the single word before smiling once more. "I think that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make."

"Make for what?" she questioned.

"Come out into the rain with me."

She stood still at the remark and took several moments to recompose herself. "I-I never really liked the rain. I mean it's cold out here and we could get sick."

"You can't say you don't like the rain until you've danced with me in it." He replied; holding out a hand for her. "Until you've seen how the storm can rage around us but leave us completely untouched and bare to the harshness around us; until you see the miracle of being able to throw your heart into the sky and let it shower against us; and see the passionate way it can bullet down all around us. You have to experience the rain with me first..."
