1. God's plan.

"Don't pull up at 6 AM to cuddle with me, you know how I like it when you lovin' on me." Seth's out of tune voice sang over Drake's voice.

The teen was on the backseat of Sam's car and as he sang and dance, he was also kicking his seat and driving the older one crazy. A few moments earlier he had agreed to give the teen control over the aux of the car with the condition that he would shut up. No need to say that the teen didn't stop, not even for a second. The dancing was bearable, but the singing? It was ticking Sam off.

"I think it's cute, he looks like he's having fun." Emily chuckled, much to Sam's annoyance.

The pack had agreed on a ski day and, of course, Sam and Emily got stuck with Seth while many of the couples went on their own. Leah refused to take his little brother now that she had imprinted on a Makah native. All the others were much more the same and avoided swiftly the idea of being Seth's babysitters. Only Emily couldn't deny a favor to Sue Clearwater. Not that Sam minded anything that Emily decided to do – she could ask him to eat dirt and he probably would do it. It was that he never got much alone time, and since the couple had gotten married a few months earlier. For god's sake, it was brutal enough that everyone in the pack knew about it, but that they weren't cooperative made him feel much more angry. Being honest, Seth was just a little rock of many big ones in his shoe.

"She said, 'Do you love me?' I tell her 'Only partly, I only love my bed and my momma, I'm sorry'." Seth screams to the top of his lugs, making Sam grip way too strongly on the gear stick.

"Relax, Sam." Emily put her hand over his. "Think of this as practice for when we have our own." She winked, making Sam smile.

For a wolf it's hard to think of having children knowing that they would carry the horrible genes that may or may not make then phase at some point in their lives. But Emily wanted for one so hard, Sam could not object. It would be nice for another little Emily or a little boy he would not leave behind like his dad did to him. It would be nice to have someone be a little part of him and a little of Emily. The only thing that held him back was the constant protection of La Push and making sure that the pack didn't cause a mess everywhere they went. Maybe he would give in one of these days. The man glanced back at Seth and smiled when he started kind of rapping to another song.

"Man I don't give a fuck about a mothafuckin' po, I'mma pull up with that stick and hit yo motherfuckin' door." Seth said more clearly, now erasing the smile Sam had just put on.

"Seth. You better shut up before I make sure you are not able to sing that song anymore." Emily hissed before her partner could say a thing.

Seth fell back on his seat, astonished. His cousin had never made such a scary face to him. He turned the music off and remained silent for the rest of the trip. Sam was equally shocked and only gave his imprint an amused look.

"We will discipline our children too." Emily said with a smile.

Oh, Sam couldn't wait to have children.
