DRACO POV

It was my forth year in Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry and I walked down the very busy halls once again. It was around seven in the morning and I was following the horde of Slytherin students making their way to breakfast in the great hall. I past the large wooden doors when a small first year Hufflepuff knocked into me.

I sent glare that could make eve the bravest heroes weak at the knees. The young Hufflepuff boy let out a small whimper and ran of to his table. I smirked and made way to the Slytherin table, where I sat next to Crabbe and a girl who's name had escaped my mind.

"What do you have next Draco?" The girl asked, batting her eyelashes. What did I have next? "Care of magical creatures." I replied in a bitter tone. I had always hated that class ever since the incident with that hippogriff, Buck-beak.

She gave me a small smirk and said "Me to. We can walk to class together if ya like" Before I could reply, A great silence had fallen over the Great Hall. Everyones head turned to face the front, where Professor Dumbledore stood at his owl shaped pedestal. It almost amazes me how he can silence a crowd like that. He never shouts or raises his voice or gets angry, it just seems like he has this aura about him that made you want to listen to him.

"Hello, sorry to interrupt but I have announcement to make. All students who will be taking care of magical creatures in your next session, it is of my concern that you are all on your best behavior as the creature you shall be studying this term has agreed to come and stay at our school for the rest of the year, so do try to make it feel welcome. That is all so do please continue with your meal."

When his announcement had ended, most of the students were left confused. How will this creature be any different from the other filthy animals that Hagrid forces us to examine and care for? I took no notice and continued to eat.

After about ten minutes and a hearty meals of eggs, bacon, toast and more, it was time to go to class. I walked along with the girl, who's name turned out to be Ashley. We got to the small green area surrounding the even smaller quaint hut, to see Hagrid with his eyes alight with excitement and a wide grin plastered onto his face. He must really be happy about this new creature.

What could it even be? A small dragon perhaps? It really doesn't matter to me anyways. Anythings a one up from a flobberworm. We waited for a short while before the other students arrived. "What could this new creature possibly be?" An obnoxious voice rung out. "No clue." An equally as loathed voice replied. It was Granger and Weasley making conversation as Boy Wonder A.K.A. Potter walked along beside them.

That was one of the many flaws of this class. I shared it with those blasted Griffindors. It was only when the whole class had assembled that Hagrid finally began his lesson. "Alright, so yer all know that something special is hapinin' because Dumbledore said so. I might as well tell ya what it is. We have been given permission to talk to…" He paused for dramatic effect

"An angel."

The whole class gasped and a wave of excited chatter washed over all the students. To say I was shocked was an understatement. Angels were extremely rare, they were practically extinct. How in the world did that half giant manage to acquire one? Hagrid cleared his throat before he began speaking again. "Now class I 'avnt met em yet so yer best behavior. They'll be comin' any minute now."

More questions rushed through my mind like a river. Was it going to be a girl or a boy? I smirked. If it was a boy that new Diggory would sure as hell have some competition. If it was a girl all of the boys would surely fawn over her like theres no tomorrow.

Not me though. Angels are to innocent. I think i would rather die than fall for some sun kissed blond girl who's guts seriously compare to those of Neville Longbottom. I heard the crunching of leaves from behind Hagrid but couldn't see behind his body. He turned around and was silent for a while, before finally speaking. "Im sorry, but 'ave you seen any, well, angels around ere?"

I heard only silence again before Hagrid exclaimed "Oh right, I was just expecting, well…" He drifted off. "Well non the less, would you introduce yourself to the class?"

What stepped out from behind Hagrid was far from what I had imagined.

A girl around my height, or slightly shorter with long hair that reached the floor was their in place of the angel that most of the class had imagined. Her hair was a dark navy blue at the top but slowly faded out towards a vibrant turquoise. Her eyes were a piercing blue, and were outlined with a black eyeliner that made them seem luminescent. Her eyelashes were so long they almost touched her perfectly groomed black eyebrows, and they were coated in a thick layer of black mascara. She had a small button nose with a silver ring in the right side. Her lips were full, with a deep cupids bow.

They were covered in a very dark plum, almost black lipstick. Her skin was pale and smooth. She was very skinny, slightly too skinny. She wore a thin black and white jumper that read the word 'DEAD' and had flaming crosses on its sleeves. On her bottom half she had black leggings with different varieties of crosses on them and black leather combat boots. On her neck was a tattoo chocker and her nails were black. She had a sly smirk on her face and a glint in her eye that practically reflected mischief. She raised her hand in a mock salute

"Alice, nice to meet cha." She said in a surprising Yorkshire tone.

This year was going to be interesting.
