A/N: I normally don't write author's notes, but I want to say something to fanfiction. net. I know that you read through stories to make sure that they have the right rating; and I know you might be worried about this story- not its rating, but the story it's based off of. I wasn't sure whether this should be Harry Potter or Harry Potter/Star Wars Crossover, since it's about Harry Potter characters, but they often reference Star Wars characters. I've decided on just Harry Potter, but if you disagree, just PM me and I'll change it.

Chapter One: Jealousy and a Plan

HARRY POTTER DEFEATS YOU-KNOW WHO!

The Heir of Slytherin has been discovered! An old curse from You-Know-Who possessed a malicious book that in turn allowed this evil sorceror to possess a student! But after You-Know-Who had attacked students across the school with his deadly serpent, the Basilisk, the ever-heroic Harry Potter defeated him for the third time!

Harry Potter used his extraordinary talents to easily solve the mystery and break into the home of the terrifying Basilisk, the Chamber of Secrets! He was alone, wandless, and blind against the serpent and the Darkest wizard in the world, but he oncemore demonstrated his immense courage as he used the sword of Godric Gryffindor (for theories on how Harry is descended from Gryffindor, turn to page A3) to easily best the snake that had no one else could defeat! Then he used his extreme intelligence to find You-Know-Who's one weakness! Harry demonstrated his enormous heroics as he destroyed the cursed book and vanquished his rival for the third time!

Fred tossed the newspaper aside with disgust. Why did the world focus on Harry so much? Hermione had solved the mystery! Dumbledore had given him the sword! Fawkes had helped and healed him! Fred remembered back when he had been the center of attention, he and George doing hundreds of pranks that gained popularity and made it them who were asked for autographs and bombarded by fans, not this second-year who had been lucky enough to barely get victories!

Fred wished he was the hero.

But that could never ha- wait. Could it?

Could Fred become a hero of the Wizarding World? Could George? Could they somehow replace Harry?

"George!" called Fred. "I have an idea..."

If anyone else had been in the common room, they would have overheard a few snippets of their conversation that could have gotten the twins investigated by the Ministry, including, "Don't be stupid, we're not taking over the world," "Harry Potter's gonna pay for this," "Maybe we could Obliviate everyone!" and "How much d'ya think it would take to bribe Dumbledore?"

However, they eventually they determined a plan. They had been watching the Star Wars movies last year, since their dad had made them, and they had decided that two people wasn't the best structure for a group of heroes- and neither was the "Golden Trio."

No, it would be best to create a team of heroes based off of the ones in Star Wars.

"I'm Luke!" Fred insisted as soon as they decided this.

"All right," said George. "But I'm Han. And we all know that we're going to make sure Angelina becomes Leia."

"Wait, what?" asked Fred. "Never mind, you can be Lu-"

"No, we already decided!" George said cheerily. "Now, we need to ask Angelina, and find some other people- Chewbacca, Threepio, Artoo, Obi-Wan, Lando, and Yoda! Let's go!"

"Uh, George, everyone left," Fred told him.

"No, why wouldn't they be at Hogwarts?" George asked.

Fred rolled his eyes. "Remember, term's over, and we stayed so that we could turn the teachers into frogs, remember?"

"Oh, yeah," said George. "You know, as soon as Mum comes to investigate why we're not home and then untranfigures them, they'll all be furious at us, and we'll have detentions every day of fifth year."

"Yeah, I know," said Fred. "Well, who do you think would be best for Threepio?"

"Hermione," said George immediately. "Knows a bunch, but stuck-up about it; often bickers with the person she's secretly really close to- yes, Ron's going to be Artoo; scared of angering authority... yeah, she's perfect."

"But should we keep Ron and Hermione in our group?" asked Fred. "That'll make it look like Harry had good judgement, which we shouldn't encourage if we want to beat him."

George nodded. "But Hermione's the perfect Threepio, and if we don't have Ron she won't join. She might even report us before we're ready to go public, and then McGonagall might shut us down."

"Might?" asked Fred, his voice filled with sarcasm. "McGonagall doesn't seem to be capable of emotion besides-"

The door flew open, slamming into the wall as Minerva McGonagall, followed by the other teachers, stepped through, her face filled with utter hatred and fury, and began screaming loud enough that Dumbledore had to magically silence her, at which point she did the unthinkable and Petrified Dumbledore.

"Pure anger," finished Fred as he saw his mother enter and resume McGonagall's Howler-level lecture, going far enough as to threaten to pull them out of Hogwarts, which McGonagall had said as well.

After it was all over, the twins learned that not only did they have detention every night of fifth year, it would be double the normal length, and they would also have their wands taken away at the start of detention and not given back until the next morning, which might complicate pranks.

Of course, the teachers had no idea that they wouldn't be focusing as much on pranks anymore, because they also had some heroic acts to perform.
