Iron Burns
They have a love
that consumes the world
burns all it touches
as precious as a pearl.
Rare though it might be,
it's also dangerous
they're caught in the throes of their passion
ignorant of the rest of us.
The raw fire of their desires
can bring two worlds together or apart
everything is at stake
sacrifices must be made.
They create a balance
summer and winter in harmony
but he cannot follow her to her destiny
her very realm fatal to him.
Their love is destined to cause pain
but they'll find a way to be together again
because after all,
they have a love
that consumes the world
burns all it touches
as precious as a pearl.
This love spans the centuries and the worlds
Endures through death and loss
It'll last for all of eternity-
but at what cost?
