You're So Annoying ~ One Shot

*Summary ~ Team 7 goes on a mission, during said mission team 7 gets attacked at random. Sasuke and Sakura get separated from Kakashi and Naruto, they are over powered and end up giving up. Sasuke is forced to watch Sakura be beat up, will she live? Does Sasuke confess his feelings?*

NORMAL POV

Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura were waiting at there teams meeting spot, Kakashi, their sensei said they had a mission and were to meet him in their regular spot and sun rise sharp. But of course being the Copy Ninja he is and reputation stays the same to this day, he was late. Normally Naruto or Sakura would be cursing and yelling he's late, but today everyone seemed in an odd mood. They all had a bad feeling about this mission, and personally did not want to go. Especially since they had just got back from a week long mission the day before. So here they were all slouching on the fence (they were on a bridge) not speaking a word.

"Yo." Kakashi appeared from a puff of smoke, doing his regular peace sign.

"Your late." Sakura said, clearly annoyed.

"Well you see I say this cat a-" Kakashi was cut off.

"Can we just get to the mission." Naruto interrupted.

"Eh, okay? The mission is to got to Suna and retrieve a scroll and right after head back. It will take about 9 days, 4 to get there and a night to rest and 4 days to get back." Kakashi explained.

So they went on there way, hardly anyone spoke a word. Kakashi tried to make small talk, clearly shocked that no one was speaking, no even Naruto which everyone new was odd. But no one ever replied back, thus never ending the awkward silence.

After a day and half of traveling, with no one speaking a word, everyone was too distracted in their thoughts to realize the set of eyes watching them. They were ambushed because of their lack of focus. There were about 10-15 men that ambushed at once, Sasuke and Sakura were on one side of the wall while Kakashi and Naruto were on the other. 7 men had cornered Sasuke and Sakura into a tree, far away from the two. They were to strong for the two of them, but they still put up a fight.

Sakura fused chakra into her hand and tried to punch a guy but he dodge, he turned and grabbed her forearm twisting it backwards. She managed to get out of his grasp by stabbing him with a kunai. She ran back next Sasuke, who which also was struggling.

Sasuke had his sharingan activated but ti was doing him no good, he ended up having to use normal techniques, he threw 3 kunai at his two opponents, one of which dodge wile the other had been hit in the shoulder. But they were out of luck, being that they ran out of chakra, thus them being completely helpless.

One of the men grabbed Sakura, Sasuke tried to save her but two of the men got him into a shoulder lock position. "Sakura!" Sasuke yelled.

Sakura had grabbed by the wrist by two men, it was as if they were playing tug-a-war with her. She screamed in pain of being stretch so far. "We are going to beat your woman until the brink of death right in front of you. You will see her die right in front of your eyes and there will be nothing you can do to help her." One of the men said walking towards Sakura.

The man walked up to Sakura, he punched her in the gut then in the face. She cried in pain as she coughed up blood. He pulled out the kunai she had thrown and cut her arm, the moved down to her stomach and made a big gash. She screamed and struggled, trying to get out of the mens grasp, but failed horribly.

"Just stop! Why are you doing this to her?" Sasuke screamed. He never liked to admit it, but he had grown feeling towards the cherry blossom. And this pained him endlessly, he tried to get out but like Sakura failed, he wanted to just punch this guy over and over again.

"This is a personal grudge and I will enjoy this." The man smirked. He turned around and once again punched Sakura in the stomach, she coughed up more blood then she should. He then took the kunai and stabbed her in the shoulder blade, her dropped her on the ground and walked towards Sasuke.

"She won't live long, I suggest you be great full for this." And with that all the men disappeared, Sasuke ran towards Sakura. He picked her up so she was on his chest, he could see from far away but she had blood all over her shirt and face. He took the kunai out gently and applied some pressure to it.

He knew that she was gonna die and there was nothing he could possibly do about it. So he just rocked back and forth, soothing her. "Sasuke." Sakura spoke, she was shocked to say the least, he never ever cared about her before. She did not expect him to be soothing her while he was shaking, especially for her death.

"You're annoying." Sasuke spoke while smirking, he then kissed her on the forehead, allowing her to enjoy her very last most of life. She then stopped breathing, but she had a smile on her lips. That is when Sasuke realized you never really appreciate someone until they're gone.

Naruto and Kakashi came running shortly after Sakura took her last breath, they were saw Sasuke shed a tear as he rocked back and forth with a lifeless Sakura in his hands.

*We only realize how much someone means to us, when they are no longer with us.
