Summer of friendship!
It's summer after her and Lilly's first year at college and Miley Stewart ride her horse Blue Jeans across a field outside the town of Crowley Corners, Tennessee.
"I've missed ya, sweetie!" says Miley to Blue Jeans. "I'm gonna spend as much of me summer with you as I can!"
Suddenly Miley's phone beeps.
"Hi, it's Miley!"
"Hi, Miley! It's me, Lilly!"
"Hi, Lils!"
"I'm in my car on the way to your farm right now. I hope you'll be there to give me a hug when I get there."
"I took Blue Jeans out for a ride, but I'm headin' back and you'll see me standing there outside the house with a big smile on my face when you arrive, Lilly."
"Say hi to Blue Jeans for me, Miley! See you soon! Bye!"
"Bye, Lils!" Miley hang up and put the phone into her pocket.
"Okey, Blue Jeans..." says Miley. "Sorry to cut our ride short, but I wanna be there to meet Lilly when she arrive."
30 minutes later Lilly step out from her car at the Stewart's farm.
"Hi, Lilly!" says Miley as she run over to her friend and give her a hug.
"Hi, Miley! Eh, Miley...you smell horse..." says Lilly as she begin to giggle.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I didn't have time to shower, Lilly." says Miley with a smile.
"It's okey. I'm just happy to see you." says Lilly.
"Where's Oliver?" says Miley.
"He couldn't come. He and his brother are goin' to Florida. They'll be back in two weeks." says Lilly.
"Too bad! It would be fun to have him here." says Miley.
"Yeah! I miss him..." says Lilly.
"Come on, Lils! I'll help ya with your bags and we can get us a snack. There's ice cream and fresh fruit." says Miley.
"Ice cream? I'm on!" says Lilly with a smile.
"I knew that the ice cream-thing would make ya smile! You've always enjoyed food, girl. And that's one of the things that I like about you." says Miley.
A few minutes later the two girls eat ice cream and drink tea in Miley's room at the oak table that Aunt Dolly gave Miley when she was just 7 years old.
"Cute room you have here!" says Lilly. "Very different from your room back in Malibu."
"This is Tennessee, Lils! Things are not up to LA-standards here." says Miley.
"I can see that..." says Lilly. "Still I actually like it. It's really cute."
"Aaww! Thanks, Lilly!" says Miley.
"My pleasure, Smiley Miley!" says Lilly.
The next day the two young women ride through Crowley Corners. Miley on Blue Jeans and Lilly on a dark-brown female horse named Shadow.
"It feels so weird that our first year in college is over..." says Lilly.
"Yeah! Time fly by so fast, Lils. It feels like it was yesterday that I met ya for the first time outside school when we were just kids." says Miley.
"I'll always remember that day, Miley!" says Lilly.
"Me too! Our friendship began that day and we've been best friends ever since!" says Miley.
"Yeah!" says Lilly.
"You're an awesome friend, Lillian!" says Miley.
"Yeah and so are you, Miley!" says Lilly.
"I know!" says Miley.
"What's for dinner tonight, girl...?" says Lilly.
"Dad's gonna make chicken-pie." says Miley. "You'll love it, Lils!"
"I hope so..." says Lilly with a smile.
"Always the same old Lilly, aren't ya?" says Miley.
"I grow up just like everyone, but I'm still Lilly Truscott!" says Lilly.
"Yeah, I guess so..." says Miley.
"Friends forever, Miley?" says Lilly.
"Yeah! Friends forever, Lils!" says Miley. "I'll race ya! First one back to the farm is a Jackson!"
"Okey!" says Lilly.
