Author's Note: This one-shot takes place sometime during the Future Arc. I wrote this because I feel Lambo is a litte misunderstood. I'm not sure if anybody feels the same, but oh well. Read on!
Lambo peeks into the conference room where Tsuna and the others were discussing something important according to I-pin, whom was somewhere unknown to him.
Earlier, after I-pin had told him, Lambo had decided to go into the room and ask Tsuna to play, but stopped short when he heard what they were discussing. To him, the words were just a jumble of nonsense, but they also sparked something inside him.
He wasn't sure what this something was. He first assumed it was an angry feeling, but then realized it was sadness.
Lambo could feel the sadness clenching his heart tightly, almost suffocating. It was confusing for the little calf. How could he feel sadness when he didn't know what was going on?
Then his thoughts wonder to Mama. Mama cooking, mama cleaning. His thoughts were full of the woman that cared for him, even though she wasn't his biological mother.
After such thoughts, Lambo concludes that his sadness was caused because what they were discussing somehow linked back to Mama.
He takes a breath and puts on his custom Lambo smile. The sadness was still there, but he knew that he must stay himself. He can't let anything change him if he wants the sadness to leave.
With both hands, Lambo puts a pink grenade in each hand and jumps into the entry of the conference room. "Mwahahahaha! Lambo-san is here!"
It's the only thing he can do. Just be himself.
