Title: Everyone Has Secrets

He wasn't supposed to be there. They both knew it, but he just stood in front of her anyway. Her eyes darted to the floor as she heard him mumble what sounded like a hello. She nodded back, her eyes still glued to the floor. She watched his feet move closer to her and felt the cool touch of his hand as he pulled her chin up to face him. He kissed her softly, but she resisted and pulled back. He sighed and ran a hand through his curly brown hair.
"You shouldn't be here," she said, stating the obvious.
"I know," he whispered. She stepped back as he walked closer to her. He sighed. He knew that she wouldn't open up to him that easily. He figured that she had been hurt too deeply before.
"I'm not going to hurt you," he said.
She looked at him hard when he said this.
He sighed again. "Look, why don't we just spend this night together and then tomorrow everything can go back to the way it was before. Because, you know this can't... turn in to anything."
She looked away, trying to avoid him as she nodded. He smiled slightly as he walked closer to her, putting his hands around her waist as he looked into her eyes.
"I love Summer," he said.
Marissa nodded. "And I love Ryan." Seth nodded back and began kissing her.
