A slight SaiSaku fic:
Watching Eyes
His eyes never left his book as if he was devouring every word in his unreadable mind. Then she noticed that the loud whiskered boy and the violent pink haired girl were not with him, a rare sight to see. They were usually together around this time of day. By now the pink girl's vein would pop, probably from a comment the loud boy would say, in which would end up with his body turning into a pitiful pulp. And the rest of the people in the cafeteria would laugh at the boy's misfortune and stupidity. In which would bring a slight entertainment in the ever boring lunch hour. However, as much as it would have been an interesting sight to see the two clowns were not around to entertain them. Leaving only him for her to secretly stare at.
Skin as pale as paper in which contrasts his onyx orbs. The boy resembled a lot from that Uchiha boy who dropped out from their school a few years ago. Even the two of them held certain auras of mystery, though both for different reasons.
The Uchiha held that aura because of an unknown anger that he held within his onyx eyes while the boy she has been staring at possesses it because of his smile.
It was emotionless and fake. It reminded her of Leonardo da Vinci's famous work, Mona Lisa and her mysterious smile. She just couldn't read whatever it was behind it. As it was empty, as if he himself felt empty.
Her train of thought was interrupted as her eyes were caught off guard by his own raven colored ones. It was only for a brief moment and if it was not for her hawk like eyes she would have not noticed it as well, but fortunately she did noticed it.
An unusual phenomenon happened…
Sai smiled, genuinely.
Her eyes quickly scanned for who was responsible for such a rare moment…
Then a large mass of crimson and pink caused her eyes to glint in victory.
'Eureka!' she thought.
Sai's genuine smile was caused by the one and only, the pink haired girl, Haruno Sakura.
'Interesting…'
A knowing smile crept on her face.
I always wanted to try something like this, writing from another person's point of view other than the main character's, you know from someone who isn't actually part of the story . Oh well, this is also my first time writing in Naruto fanfiction, I hope I did okay.
