I think I'm in love with her.
Not the type of love you see in fairy tales where the prince rescues the princess. Or even the love from chick flicks where the guy falls for the girl and makes a grand romantic gesture to win her over. I feel the type of love you know isn't a good idea from the start but can't do anything about.
I've fallen, deeply and irrevocably in love with her.
But I can't tell anybody.
I'm Travis Stoll for Hermes' sake! I, more than anybody else, can't be in love with Katie Gardiner. We hate each other- it's our thing! I prank her, she yells at me and we fight a fight that could rival Percy and Annabeth's fights. I can't…. love her.
Besides- even if I did- I'm too nervous to do anything about it. She'll shoot me those small smiles that only I get from her and make my brain freeze up. I choke.
After all, all I am is a man.

Written for the random pairing/prompt/word count challenge of the Percy Jackson Fanfiction Challenges forum. I was bored :p. My prompt was all I am is a man, my word count was 170- which I met exactly!- and my couple was, obviously….
….Tratie! I'm really getting back into this couple! I miss Tratie L I hope Rick's heard about this couple and just throws in- even if it's only in a passing sentence- that Travis and Katie stopped fighting and became a couple in Blood of Olympus J.
Life = made.
I'll be gone for the rest of this week- gotta counsel at a camp- but as soon as I'm back expect updates on Half-Blood High and (if I don't by the end of today) Wonders and Contemplations. Plus I'm working on a new story which will be 100 drabbles for Leo and Reyna. I also got the prompt from Percy Jackson Fanfiction Challenges and have already started working on it!
