Ruby sat down, waiting for Sapphire. She had been waiting quite a long time to fuse into Garnet. She bounced up and down at the thought. "Sapphire needs to hurry!" she told herself, trying to relax. "Ugh." Ruby nervously glanced at all the shiny Temple bubbles - they were quite an amazing sight, good memories, stuck in a bubble. "I hope she hurries. Pearl and Amethyst could be coming any minute to discuss Steven's healing spit," she whispered. "I'm here," she heard a gentle, velvety voice say.
"Sapphire?!" Ruby said. "You're here! What did you want to discuss?" Sapphire spread apart her bangs, revealing her beautiful blue eye. She blushed a bit, took a deep breath, and began to sing.

half of what you think of me,

wondering when I'm coming back,

Ruby blushed. She began to sing as well.

Sapphire blushed more as well. They both began to sing the following lyrics:

They both did a small fusion dance and formed Garnet. She shed a single tear.
Pearl and Amethyst entered the room, staring at Garnet's tear. "What was going on in here?"
"Nothing," Garnet replied, adjusting her visors.
"Nothing important." Inside Garnet, Ruby and Sapphire winked at each other.
