Hopeless Love


I've wanted her for so long.
I used to sit behind her in class and the smell of her shampoo would drift my way. I would get lost in it.
I love her.

First she was with dead-boy.
Then soldier-boy.
Now, now she's with another one i've wanted. The only other person who has captured my heart.

I can never tell them how I really feel. How much I want them in my arms.
I love them and they can never know.

I watch them together and they look so happy. The worlds fate is in their hands but when they're together nothing else seems to matter.
Nobody else matters.

I used to wonder if they knew. If they suspected. They've caught me looking at them and I can see it in their eyes.
They know, they must.
The two women I love with all my heart love each other.
I love them but I can never tell them.

I used to dream of the three of us together. Wondering if it could work. Fantasizing about our lives and the happiness we would have together.
Telling each other how we feel. I may dream about it for the rest of my life but the hope for it is gone.
I love them and I will until the day I die.
