Hi, short one-shot. I see no plot in this, but might make a part 2 with Deidara reflecting on his and Sasori's partnership. So, the story is incomplete! If I owned Naruto they would need to up the rating. (PG 13 no more!) Somehow I think that sense Deidara became all serious when Sasori died, maybe the same happened to Sasori when Orochimaru left? (Probably not.) Anyways, on to the story!
"Orochimaru-sama, Orochimaru-sama!" a small redhead darted through the Akatsuki halls, running into his partners room. He stopped, his red hair framing his face as he grinned. "Guess what!"
"Sasori I don't have time for you and your petty 'art' or what not." Orochimaru looked up from the scroll he was working on, Sasori's smile faltered.
"But this one is really neat!" he whined slightly. Orochimaru sighed and nodded.
"Fine, brat." he glared. Sasori grinned and set upon unlocking the scroll he was carrying, when that was done a magnificent puppet lay before him, the third Kazekage.
"Pretty cool for a brat, huh?" he smiled wider, noticing Orochimaru's shocked expression.
"The third Kazekage, you killed him?" he asked, shocked.
"M-hum! And only puncture wounds from senbon, and you can't even see them!" he was nearly laughing now, proud at what he had accomplished.
"Very good, brat." Orochimaru nodded, picking up his scroll. "Do you know where Itachi is?"
"Itachi-san..." Sasori thought for a moment. "Training with Kisame-san!"
"Thanks kid." Orochimaru paused to ruffle Sasori's hair, then walked out the door.
'He's not so bad. Maybe I can get used to this "Akatsuki" thing...' Sasori smiled and put away his newest puppet, he had others to tend to.
"Sasori no danna, Sasori no danna!" the blond darted though the Akatsuki halls, running into his partners room. He stopped his blond hair falling in his face as he grinned, "Guess what, un!"
"Deidara, I don't have time for you and your petty 'art' or what not." Sasori growled, turning around.
"But this ones really neat, un!" He whined slightly. Sasori paused, looking up at Deidara, looking puzzled. "Hey Danna, something wrong, un?" Sasori chuckled slightly.
"Past times, past times." he said. "Okay, Deidara, what did you make." Deidara grinned and opened his hand mouth, a small sparrow jumped onto his palm, every detail intact.
"Pretty cool, huh?" Deidara asked.
"Yes, it's a beautiful sculpture Deidara." he nodded, only causing Deidara to grin some more.
"Thanks Danna, un!" Deidara chirped.
People say, in a sense, he has taken the place I held when Orochimaru was here, as the most childish. Sasori thought, watching Deidara make the bird fly around the room. But that would have meant that I have taken Orochimaru's place, which is very untrue. We are not like people of the past, but new people. Orochimaru held nothing but contempt for being paired up with me, Deidara, he's different. I, actually do like him.
He's pretty cool, for a brat.
