White's POV
"You did WHAT?!"Shauntal asked hysterically at Caitlin and me. We were in Shauntal's dormitory. Believe it or not, the Pokemon league has many other halls and corridors inside the Elite Four's battle rooms.
"I told you she wouldn't like it," Caitlin muttered.
"What's wrong? I thought you liked Grimsley," I asked.
"I do, Miss White, but thou are forgetting that I'm too shy! This chapter was never meant to be written!" she cried out. I then noticed her black file cabinet out of the corner of my eye and walked up to it.
"You're right. It was never meant to be written," I said rummaging through her old notes and memos. "But it was mentioned by the author herself." I heard Shauntal gulp.
"I never mentioned it..." I took out the memo I was looking for and cleared my throat before I could begin reading.
"Yes you did, and I quote: If black and white can complement, contrast, and still complete each other, then so can ghosts dwell the darkness. For in the darkness of night ghosts can find energy and strength, as well as love for their mortal souls. And if thy heroes of black and white can believe in each other and grow stronger by doing so, then furthermore can ghosts dwell the is the case of a ghost/dark type, that has no weaknesses, same is the case of a relationship based on ghosts in the dark. A relationship with no weakness is hard to tame, but it tends to work out as well as those that do. February 15th, the true Valentine's Day." As I finished reading and putting the paper away, Shauntal's cheeks tinted red.
"How did you know I'd written that, Miss White?" Shauntal asked confused.
"You read it to me last February 15th. How could I not remember it?" I slung my arm around her shoulder."Shauntal, you've said it yourself, if Black and I can complete each other, so can ghosts dwell the darkness," I said.
"But the part I didn't write was that ghosts aren't as timorous as fire, Miss White. That fact alone makes it difficult to dwell," she said. I sighed.
"Listen, you may be against going on that date with Grimsley, but that shouldn't stop you from being truly happy. It's just one date, if there were to be more you'd have to decide. Will you go?" I pleaded.
"Alright, I shall go where the wind blows," she replied giving in.
"Great! Because the date is now!" I said.
"WHAT?!"
"Caitlin, lockdown 27," I ordered to the psychic powered Elite.
"Ready," she said.
"Good. Let's go!" And I pushed out the protesting Shauntal. She could protest all she wanted, because all the exits were locked until I commanded. How did Alder make things fun around here?
The End
