This isn't actually a story but rather a challenge for a story that could prove very interesting if someone took me up on the challenge.
Set in modern times, the world is not what it seems. It wasn't baby Harry that sent Voldemort away the first time but rather baby Severus. That's right: the child of prophecy was Severus Snape! What's more, Harry and the gang are professors at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Witchery.
Requirements: All of the teachers as we know them are students in the different houses. Cornelius Fudge is Headmaster of Hogwarts.
Albus Dumbledore is absent from the world as we know it as if he didn't exist?
Harry Potter teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts. Hermione Granger teaches Transfiguration and is Head of Ravenclaw house. Ronald Weasley is professor of Charms and Head of Gryffindor House. Neville Longbottom, professor of Herbology, is Head of Hufflepuff House. Draco Malfoy, Head of Slytherin House, teaches Potions. Ginny Weasley is the Flying instructor and Luna Lovegood teachers one of the following courses: Astronomy, Divination, Care of Magical Creatures. Percy Weasley teaches History of Magic and is Deputy Headmaster.
As for students in this time, the Marauders as we knew them still exist only they are in the place of the golden trio. James as Prongs, Sirius as Padfoot, Remus as Moony, and Severus as a snake animagus. All four are in Gryffindor house and they have completed the Marauders map as we knew it. As for Peter Pettigrew, he was sorted into Slytherin and got his jollies by attempting to torture Gryffindors at the behest of his friends Lucius Malfoy, Goyle, Nott, Crabbe, etc. Unfortunately for him, the marauders are more than he ever bargained for.
