Dumbledore's Legacy

CHAPTER 1- DISBELIEF

A cool wind runs through the grounds at Hog warts , the school for witchcraft and wizardy. Not the cool wind that you think would signify the mysterious ways of the supernatural occurrences at this school, instead, it is a cool wind that signifies death. The death of none other than Headmaster Dumbledore, sorry, EX-Headmaster Dumbledore. The end of the school year has came, could it be the end for Hogwarts?

Harry sits in his emptied room at Hogwarts, on his empty four poster bed, starring at his empty trunk, and looking at it with an empty stare. The only thing that isn't empty in Harry's room is his mind, fiercefuly racing around with what seems to be an impossible amount of questions…..What am I to do now?… Where am I to go?…How am I to get there?…Why am I asking these stupid questions when I haven't asked myself the most important question of all….Harry already knew the answer to the question he couldn't bare to ask him self. Why did he have to die? First his parents, now Dumbledore. The only thing that brought Harry the slightest bit out of his mood was his pure determination for seeking revenge on the killer. That, and the site of one of his best friends, Ron Weasely.

"Ughm, hiya, Harry. So, Hermoine is at Hagrids saying her good-byes. I was there, but I looked at this tower and wanted to see how you were doing." Said Ron, too afraid to look into Harry's eyes, but still trying to sound tough as he stood upright.

"Oh, don't worry about me Ron. I was just thinking about going down to see Hagrid as well you 'no? But I decided I should start filling up my trunk." Both Harry and Ron looked at Harry's pitifully empty trunk, which, by now had closed its lid itself, not seeing any reason why it should be opened.

"Well I can see you have been…err..real busy with that. Best not distract you now that you're on such a roll. The train wi-" Ron tried to spit out before he was interrupted by Harry,

"I'm not going back today. I have already asked Professor McGonagall and she said I could stay an extra night. While I make up my mind. They also need me for more questioning." Once done speaking, Harry lay back on his bed and looked at the ceiling, predicting exactly what Ron was about to say next.

"I'll stay with you, you know. Fine by me. Just say the word and I'll take my trunk right off the luggage cart right now."

Laughingly, Harry said, "That's quite all right Ron, thanks. I am sure that I will be seeing you shortly, anyways."

"Well, all right then. But you know that Hermoine would stay if she could though right? Oh, and you do remember our promise to ya Harry?..Don't you?" Asked Ron eagerly.

"Of course Ron. But I hope you know that I still mean every word of it."

"I should hope so." And, with that, Ron left. Leaving Harry alone in his empty room, looking at his empty trunk, with an empty stare. And his mind raced on…
