"Briefs Trunks!" screamed his teacher for the third time. Trunks jumped and the class snickered. He blinked. Damn. It was just a daydream. He shifted uneasily. Chibi-Trunks stood at attention, ready and rarin' to go. Unfortunately, he was in the middle of Math class, with no escape.
"Briefs-san, since you know so much about Algebra, why don't you solve this problem,' said his teacher, pointing at the board and smiling sweetly. He stood up, thanking Dende that he had chosen one of his baggier pairs of pants that morning.

Trunks got up and grabbed his stuff. He headed to his locker to get his books for third block when a female voice floated down the hall.
"Oh, Trunks~!"
Trunks mentally cringed. It was Yukita, a girl who'd been chasing him since his first day. She was very beautiful, but, well, he didn't exactly swing that way.
"Hey~ Trunks-kun! Do you have a date for the dance?" she asked, getting closer as she spoke.
"Not yet, Yukita-san. I'm working on it," said Trunks with a smile. In a perfect world, he would've asked Goten, but it wasn't a perfect world.
"Well, I'm still free, Trunks-kun!"
'Hmm, if I go out with Yukita, it might make Goten jealous! Then he'd realize his feelings for me!'
"Yukita-san, would you mind going with me?"
"Okay! Do you know what costume you're going to wear? Because we should match."
"No, not yet. Why don't you go pick some out."
"Sure. See ya later, Trunks-kun~!"
