Zel: *Raises an eyebrow at Link* Why do you wanna know that?
Me: It's a RUTO and Link pairing! *Snicker*
Link: NOOO! *Grabs B.C. by her shoulders* PLEASE! ANYTHING BUT THAT!
Me: Just kidding! It's actually a "Zelink" pairing!
Link: PHEW!
Zelda: Good… err, I mean…
Link: *Chuckle* I always knew you loved me, Zel.
Me: Disclaimer time!

I took a deep breath as I walked into my new school, Hyrule High school. I had to stop myself from gasping. It was huge. Long hallways with all kinds of students, tall ceilings and a large glass case filled with photos and trophies. I looked inside and saw a picture of a zora girl holding a trophy. It read, "Ruto: Winner of the swim match." I smiled and looked at another one. It was a boy with red eyes and blonde hair. One of his eyes was covered by his hair. It said, "Sheik: Winner of the sparring match."
I remembered that I would have to get my schedule before my classes started, so I went to go find the office. I accidentally ran into someone when I turned around the corner and we both fell. "I am so sorry!" I said, standing up to help whoever I bumped into.
How embarrassing! Great, I thought. Knock somebody down on the first day… way to make a first impression, Zelda!
The girl I ran into looked about a year younger than me, but she was so small that she looked thirteen. She only came up to my shoulders. She had such bright green hair that it almost looked neon. She was wearing a green turtleneck and shorts with green boots. Wow, I thought. Green must be her favorite color.
"I'm sorry about that," I said, grabbing her hand to help her up. "I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."
I expected her to be angry with me or at least be upset, but to my surprise… she looked up with sparkling blue eyes and a beautiful smile. "It's alright," She said, straightening her shirt. "It's not like I'm not used to it." I frowned.
Did this girl get pushed around or something?
She must have noticed my confusion and quickly added, "I'm not bullied!" I sighed with relief. I can't stand bullies… they think that because they're bigger and stronger, they can pick on the weaker people. "I'm just small," She said. I nodded, understanding what she meant.
"My name is Saria. What's yours?"
"Zelda."
Saria gave me that smile again. "What a beautiful name!"
I giggled. I guess this wouldn't be so bad after all.

Me: YAY! I love Saria! She's so sweet. *Gives Saria a Goron hug* I love how she became Link's friend even when he was different.
Sar: *Giggle* Aww… thank you, B.C.! I love ya too.
Link: Saria's awesome… now when do I come in?
Zel: Link!
Me: Don't worry, Link! You'll come in soon. *Turns toward readers* Sorry that this chapter is super short… it's only the first one! Plus, I come up with stuff as I write. Oh, and I bet you guys thought that Zelda ran into Link at first didn't you? Haha!
