Michael's not sure how or when Lovrina ended up at the HQ, but he does know it can't be for anything good, not with the way her green eyes are shining and that dazzling smile she's wearing.
"Hiya, Michael!"
Michael blinks. Long gone is that Cipher uniform she once sprouted, and in place of it are clothes that could be considered normal. Pinks and reds adourn her body, her hair is down - boy is it long - and Michael, god he is trying so damn hard not to stare and give her the wrong idea —
"What are you doing here?" he manages to choke out.
"What do you mean, silly?!" she asks, pouting and placing her hands on he hips.
"I mean, you're here. Why?"
"People change, Mikey! I just wanted to visit my old friend!'
Michael bursts out laughing. He's not sure what's funnier, Lovrina changing or Mikey.
"What? Don't you believe me?"
"No!" he shouts, "You're evil!"
Lovrina shrieks in frustration. "People can change!"
Yes, Michael notes, they can, but certainly not the Cipher Princess of Shadow Pokemon. Not the girl with the dazzling, fake smile, bright, shiny eyes, soft, lightly strawberry-scented hair and lucious lips. Lips that she used to steal secret kisses with in the dark. No, he was her plaything, dirt under her shoes. And that wouldn't - couldn't, he corrects himself - ever change.
His laugh is bitter. "Not you, princess."
Lovrina's temper flares, and wind is suddenly blowing everywhere around him. She is upon him, then, hands fisting his shirt and hair flowing as they stand against the wall. Tears are rolling from her eyes, lips dyed with salmon pink lipstick are near his - lips, Michael silently adds, that he would love to get reaquainted with - and all Michael can think, as he places his hand at the small of her back, is that placing her in the purification chamber wouldn't hurt.
