You love him don't you Tifa? As you always have. He doesn't deserve it you know. Your loyalty to him is undying, through everything. He never thought twice about it. About you. He promised you he would always be there for you didn't he? But he spent all his time reminiscing about Aeris, concentrating on his own fate. He never even realised when you tried to bear the weight he carried on his shoulders.
When you first came to Avalanche, you kept to yourself, but we always loved to be around you. It didn't take you long to warm up to us. You fitted in perfectly, and you always cheered us up when we needed it. When Cloud first came, he didn't give damn about anything we did or why. Not even when he was reunited with you. But you stuck by him.
You always knew he made me angry, even though I know I would never want oppose him. I care about him and what he has had to go through, but I still can't stand him. Part of that is because of you, Tifa.
For as long as I've known you I've loved you Tifa. As a friend. As family. As the woman I love. Marlene has always loved you too. You had such an amazing bond with her. No one other than me cared for her the way you did. I could never show it, but you are the only one who could fill the space Marlene's mother left behind.

When Cloud came to join us, you devoted all your strength to help Cloud become the warrior he needed to be when he defeated Sephiroth. And you were never allowed a chance to be the vulnerable one. But he never looked back to care about you.

When Cloud gave Sephiroth the black materia, I was the one who dragged out of danger. When you were nearly thrown from the Highwind, I was the one there to stop your fall. When we were captured by Shinra, I stood by your bed, watching over you. When they tried to execute you, I was the first one to try to get you out. I was the one you freed you. But I don't care and it doesn't matter. I don't ask for credit or payment in return. I just want you to know I love you.
