Hey everyone. This story was written for Pirates of the Black Lake on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I used the prompt for Davey Jones (plot point) gathering seashells on the shore. I hope you all enjoy Seashell Proposal.

Albus Potter smiled as he watched his boyfriend of two years bend down and pick up a pretty shell of the beach. It was nice to see Scorpius so carefree and himself for once. He knew that the other boy was dreading telling his father about their relationship not because Scorpius didn't love Albus with all his heart. It was because of Scorpius' father.

Scorpius smiled back at Albus as he walked back to the dark haired wizard with his treasure. Handing the shell he had just picked up to Albus he couldn't help but wish he was more braver. Much more like his Albus was. He should be able to tell his parents what made him happy and not be afraid of being told he needed to marry a nice pure-blood witch.

"Scorpius," Albus' voice broke through the other boy's thoughts, "I have something important I want to ask you. It's something I've been wanting to ask since last month."

"You can say anything to me, Al," Scorpius told him with a beaming smile and nervous feeling in his gut.

"I've spoke to my parents about it and they agree. They think that if you love someone as much as we love each other you should be them."

"Al, I can't tell my parents. You know what they'll say..."

"I talked to your father, Scorpius," Albus blurted out. "He was a little upset that you didn't tell him about us yourself but he also only wants you to be happy. So I asked his permission to ask you the one question I've been dying to ask you."

Scorpius felt like his heart was about to burst with love and excitement at the prospect of what Albus was about to ask him. He looked deeply into Albus' eyes seeing all his love reflected right back at him.

"Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy," Albus got down on one knee holding out his own seashell that he'd picked up along the way with a ring in the middle of it, "will you marry me and make me the happiest man on earth?"

Scorpius felt tears slide down his cheeks as frantically nodded his head yes. After he was sure that his voice wouldn't crack he whispered a quick yes too. He felt the ring being slipped onto his finger and the smile spread across his face. Now there was no denying that he and Albus were together. Or the fact that they'd be together for the rest of their lives.

Hearing a slight cheer come from behind them the boys both turned to be greeted by their families. Both set of parents seemed to be very happy for the couple. Hugs were exchanged as the big happy family continued to gather shells on the beach.

I hope you all enjoyed Seashell Proposal.
