"Damn

"Damn!" JD muttered as he stared at the screen. "Still only ten reviews…"

He thought it was pretty annoying actually. He'd been updating his Gilmore Girls fanfic every day for the past week and he still had the same amount of reviews he'd had three days ago.

"You try to keep your fans happy and this is the thanks you get…" he muttered, going to the forum. Well, he only really had one fan, JesusMD, who reviewed all his stories, but was probably only being nice. He scrolled down, and gasped.

"I'm not even on page one any more! What's top…another Luke/Rory fic? Please!"

He clicked off the forum and went back to the "TV Shows" section. He closed his eyes and randomly clicked on a forum. Then he opened his eyes again.

"House. What's top…House/Wilson slash, House needs help with a patient and James comes running, but will this difficult case unlock hidden feelings for the doctors? Interesting…" JD muttered to himself. "Who's it by…? JesusMD? They write House fic? And anyway, what kind of a penname is that?"

He clicked on the username and went to the author's homepage.

"Oh my god, this guy's written tons! There are about…16 House stories! Ooh, they're a House/Cuddy fan!"

He sighed, and laid back in his chair.

"This sucks! The one day off I have in ages I spend writing a fanfic that nobody reviews and this person's got 27 fanfics, about 50 reviews per fic and and is top of the House forum!"

Suddenly the door opened, and Dr Cox came in the room. Quickly, JD minimised the fanfiction window, and maximised a few files.

"Hey, Vera. Whatchya doing there?"

"Oh, just a few files…" JD muttered. Dr Cox walked over and looked over his shoulder at the computer screen.

"What's that then, Newbie?" he said, tapping the bar at the bottom of the screen where the minimised fanfic window was.

"Damn it…" JD muttered. Dr Cox took hold of the mouse and opened up .

"Since when have you been into fanfic, Newbie?"

"Since I knew there was such a thing"

"Let me guess…Gilmore Girls fanfic?"

"Yeah…how do you know about fanfic, Perry?"

"I write it"

JD gave him a look of shock and horror.

"You write fanfic?"

"Well yes, Newbie, as a matter of fact I do. And I bet I have more fans than you do!"

JD sighed for the millionth time that day.

"You're probably right…there's only one person who reads and reviews all my stories, and even then it's probably out of pity"

Dr Cox shrugged. He turned to the door and opened it, and was about to leave when JD spoke again.

"Hey, Perry! What's your penname so I can add you to my favourite authors list?"

"JesusMD" Dr Cox said. He grinned cockily at the surprised look JD gave him.

"H-how did you know my penname?" JD stuttered.

"Vanilla underscore Bear? Please! That could only be you, Angela! Oh, and Newbie. It's not out of pity""

And with that he walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him.

JD smiled to himself, and turned back to his computer, opening up a new Word document. He had oneshot inspiration. Quickly, he typed up the summary, and leant back in his chair to check it.

Rory is struggling with writer's block for her fanfic. Can Logan give her inspiration in time for her next update deadline? Oneshot. Rory/Logan if you want it to be.

JD grinned. He knew exactly what he was going to base this on.
