"Come on Miss M, can't this thing go any faster!" Wally yelled nervously at M'gann.
"Wally, she's tired, we are all, she's going as fast as she can." The exhausted Martian replied.
"Yeah, KF chill, we're almost there." Robin assured his best friend.
Suddenly the most bone-chilling growl rang around the bio-ship. It had the volume of a lion and the rage of a gorilla, specifically Brain's gorilla, Mala.
"Are we under attack?" M'gann turned her attention toward Kaldur.
"It doesn't appear so." He replied as he looked around for any sign of danger.
"Then what was that?" Chimed in Conner who was looking out the windows on the opposite side of the ship to Kaldur. Everyone had soon realized the speedster hadn't voiced any concerns.
"Wally, was that your… stomach?" Artemis questioned.
The entire ship remained silent, waiting for a response.
"Uh huh." He confirmed. Another awkward silence ensued before another outburst, "M'gaaaaannnnnn." He dragged out her name while complaining.
"Relax Wally, we're here." She replied.
As soon as the bio-ship doors opened, the speedster used the last of his energy to run to the kitchen rejoicing the entire way there, until silence one again filled the Cave.
"Kid?" Robin called out as he raced toward the kitchen with the team following. As the entered the kitchen they saw the saddest site they would ever see; Wally was kneeling in front of the open fridge, crying, while holding onto an empty container that once held lasagna. As the team looked up, they realized the rest of the food was gone too.
No one knew what happened until Red Tornado walked into the kitchen.
"I did not know how much to feed Wolf."
