Papyrus was training with a snowman. He was about to do his special attack, when he realized his special attack bone was gone. He knew exactly who stole it. It was a dog he merely called "Annoying Dog", solely for the fact he always caused trouble to him. This day was no different...aside from Papyrus' reaction.

"GRRRRRR!" Papyrus growled. "YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO RUIN MY DAY! I HATE YOU!"

"But...I only wanted to make your life fun!" Annoying Dog whimpered scared.

"FUN!? FUN!? THERE IS NOTHING FUN ABOUT ANY OF THIS! GET OUT OF MY LIFE YOU…YOU ABOMINATION!" Papyrus yelled as loud as he could, it was so loud it could be heard across the underground. Annoying Dog's eyes welled up with tears, and he ran away crying. Soon, a disappointed Verdana, Gaster and Sans came in.

"that was really harsh bro…" Sans said. "he never meant to upset you this bad. he was just trying to have fun."

"Your brother is right." Gaster continued. "You just yelled at that dog over a stupid bone you can re-create."

"Don't you have a heart Papi?" Verdana asked sadly.

"I DON'T CARE! HE'LL MOST LIKELY COME BACK AND ANNOY ME AGAIN!" Papyrus said, crossing his arms. However, a week passed and Annoying Dog was nowhere to be seen. Not in the sink and not in his room. You readers might think this would make him happy. However, this isn't the case. In fact, Papyrus actually missed Annoying Dog! He felt horrible for what he did to him.

"I….I HAVE TO APOLOGIZE TO HIM!" Papyrus declared. He began looking for Annoying Dog, and he looked all over Snowdin. Eventually he found him lying sad in the snow.

"HEY….UH…..ANNOYING DOG?" Papyrus asked sheepishly. Annoying Dog lifted his head up curiously.

"I WANTED TO SAY…I'M….I'M SORRY!" Papyrus cried. But soon something rather surprising happened. Annoying Dog jumped onto Papyrus and licked his cheek bones! His tail was wagging fast, so he was really happy.

"YOU…YOU FORGIVE ME?" Papyrus asked, confused. Annoying Dog simply nodded. The two hugged. Soon Papyrus returned home with his new friend.

"CAN I KEEP HIM?" Papyrus asked.

"Hm, alright." Gaster said, smiling. "I don't see why not. He does seem like he would like to stay with you."

"What will you name him Papi?" Verdana asked. Papyrus thought about what he would name his new buddy. Then it hit him.

"I WILL CALL HIM BUDDY!" Papyrus said as he hugged his new dog. Buddy then looked at Sans and winked at him.

"welcome to our family, tobyfox." Sans said as he winked back.
