Intersecting roads
I'm not a child anymore, so don't look down to me.
Momiji walked along the hot pathway with Hatsuharu, who seemed unaffected by the heat. It was summertime, and it was sweltering. Momiji felt uncomfortably warm as he walked next to Haru, his pink rabbit backpack swinging behind him.
I'm not anymore that foolish child, who couldn't understand anything.
They turned the corner just to see someone they hadn't ever expected to meet on their walk. Hatsuharu stopped, somewhat shocked as the young woman in front of them paused. Momiji wiped his damp forehead as he looked at the most beautiful member of the Zodiac: Isuzu.
I'm not anymore that boy –I've become a man.
They exchanged silent gazes; no one said a word. Hatsuharu lifted his hand to touch Isuzu's arm - but she jerked herself away and walked past them, pushing Hatsuharu out of her way as she went. Their exchange could not have been more than a moment. Hatsuharu did not go after her. Momiji turned his head, watching as Isuzu walked off. Suddenly, she stopped in her tracks.
I know what pain is. I've felt pain too, myself.
The rabbit of Zodiac looked on quietly as Isuzu trembled, still not moving. She clenched her hands into fists and seemed somewhat uncertain about what to do. Momiji blinked.
So don't shut me out, when I'm ready to reach with your way…
He heard Hatsuharu take small steps. Momiji looked back, watching as Haru began walking ahead. Isuzu seemed still frozen in her spot. As if she wasn't sure if she should stay or leave.
…since I won't let go, if you let me touch you.
"Er liebt dich," Momiji simply said, before following after Hatsuharu. His rabbit pack still swinging behind him while he walked.
Just one touch.
