Author's Note : Wow! I finally did it! My very first fanfic! I had been thinking about writing my own fanfic for a while. Since I am a big fan of HPLV pairing, of course I was going to write one about them. I didn't want to write angst filled stories, but that was troublesome because I like OC Harry and Voldemort. Since their relationship is rather dynamic, it was difficult for me to choose a storyline in which they can co-exist somewhat peacefully.
Then, I had an inspiration while reading several time-travel fics. Many fics have Harry returning to past to save the world, but I haven't seen many that deal with Voldemort traveling back in time. When Harry goes back to past, he changes many things and frankly, he looks a bit OOC planning and manipulating the past. I think that is closer to Voldemort's characteristics than Harry's. Maybe Harry would turn out that way after fighting with Voldemort for a long time, but I like Harry who is just a teen, doesn't think before acting, and loves those around him. So, I am writing this fic based on books 1 to 5, and will only use some characters and themes from books 6 and 7.
Pairings: Harry Potter & Lord Voldemort
Rating: Rated M for violence. (Murder, manipulation, etc.) There will not be any explicit scenes in this fic, so if you don't like stories without slash, don't read it.
Warnings: Harry will be appearing in this fic only for a few times. (He will be appearing a lot in the sequel.) Mainly deals with Cunning!Not Mad!Slightly Megalomaniac!Voldemort.

Summary : After his godfather's death, Harry suffers from depression and finds a Time-Turner. Apparently one had managed to get into his cloak during his episode at the Ministry of Magic. Being a rather brash teenager he is, Harry decides to travel back in time to save his loved ones. He realizes that he can't just disappear in his aunt's house; after all, he waschanging the past and who knew what kind of impacts it might have on his aunt? She might not be living here any longer! The Ministry would try to expel him again if he suddenly appeared out of nowhere in a muggle house. Harry runs away from Number Four, Private Drive with his Invisibility Cloak, wand, Potter Trust Vault key, and Firebolt. He flies to Leaky Cauldron, withdraws Galleons from his Trust Vault, and sets the Time-Turner to 1926, Dec. 31. Arriving at the orphange that Voldemort had grown up, Harry secretly watches Merope Gaunt saying her last word. He then remembers his grief at his godfather's death, and suddenly feels guilty to Merope Gaunt that he was going to kill her infant son soon after she passed away. He impulsively decides to heal her; at least she will be able to live on. After sneaking some Galleons into her coat, he heals her. However, his actions might make impacts he didn't wish for...
