One thousand years after the fall of Galbatorix Adrian Bromsson youngest brother of Eragon Shadeslayer and Murtagh Kingkiller is brought from Elesmera home of the elves to Camelot to guard the beautiful lady Morgana but he eventually finds himself on an adventure with Arthur the once and future king and Merlin the most powerful sorcerer of all time.

Chapter 1

The Elven Rider

Arrives in Camelot

My name is Adrian Bromsson brother of Eragon Bromsson Shadeslayer King of the elves and brother in law of Arya Drottning Shadeslayer I used to be the elf equivalent of a prince but the elven rulers are diplomatically elected by the people of Ellesmera.

I made my way to the palace of the elves on my horse snowfire I saw human troops standing outside of the doors and I went inside I knew we were currently at war with a human kingdom called Camelot I guess we have finally reached an accord I went in the castle and saw my sister in law.

"Arya what is it" I said since she was looking at me with a sad face "Adrian, I'm sorry your brothers dead and now I have to lose you" said Arya "why" I asked "the king of Camelot, Uther Pendragon wants you as a hostage so to stop our attacks, I'm sorry but to have peace, I have to send you away" said Arya "Its okay Arya if it brings peace I will go to Camelot" I said.

"You have to leave Selene here and you can't use magic the king doesn't like magic please don't use magic unless absolutely necessary" said Arya "ok Arya I promise not to use magic unless absolutely necessary" I said and I left with the camelot knights a few days later I arrived in Camelot and was brought before king Uther Pendragon.

Uther told me I was to be a bodyguard for his ward lady Morgana which I guess is a nice way of saying servant boy I met the lady Morgana and I thought she was beautiful with long wavy dark brown hair, green eyes and a beautiful blue dress "Lady Morgana I'm Adrian I have to be your new servant I guess" I said "I heard Uther say you're my bodyguard" said Morgana "to me that translates to servant boy" I said "well I don't want you to feel that way" said Morgana.

I spent the better part of three years with Morgana I met the king's son Arthur the boy was a prat an arrogant one at that I had only told one person of my magic Gaius the court physician one day things changed with the arrival of a boy with a great destiny a boy named Merlin.
