Even the Order was there, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Alastar Moody, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Bill, Arthur, Fred, George and Molly Weasley, Fluer Delacour. Each was wearing black dragon skin jackets.
It looked like the entire wizarding world, except for most of the death eaters, were there. The band The Weird Sisters, the people of the Knight Bus, inhabitants of Hogsmeade, Squibs, Diagon Alley. The entire wizarding world had to have closed down so that they could attend this sad day, the funeral of Albus Pertrifical Wolfic Brian Dumbledore. Even the ghosts.
The D.A. was sitting towards the back of the crowd watching people come and take a seat. A girl walked behind then and eyed them, she was heading to the front of the crowd, beside the white tomb. There was a microphone standing on the platform where she was to sing, she had an amazing voice and volunteered her peice.
Dezeray began to sing the lyrics of a muggle song that she thought would fit the occasion and the relationship that her and Dumbledore shared:
When you cried I wipe away all of your tears When you scream I fight away all of your fears I held your hand through all of these years But you still have, all of me.
The people in the crowd slowly turned there attention to her as she continued to sing, the song wasn't for their pleasure but to let them know that she would miss the man laying in the tomb. He was like the father she never had near her, he always looked out for her but know he was gone.
I tried so hard to tell myself that your gone and though your still with me I feel alone all alone
This part was true, he may always be there in spirit but nothing could replace him, when he would talk to her and give her hope. But he left her a job to do, although she didn't understand all of it: Help Harry Potter with his mission. These were a few of the last words that he had spoke to her, the night before he was killed by a man that she used to trust, two. Draco Malfoy and Serverus Snape...what happened with them? She saw that it ate Draco to do what he was forced to...but Snape was and expert at hiding his feelings...or maybe didn't even have any about this.
Dez finished singing and walked away slowly, a tear rolled down her cheek as she sat farthest away from everyone. She barely listened to what anyone else had said to the tomb, their last words that would never be answered by the calm voice of Albus Dumbledore. Never again to be looked upon with the blue eyes that sparkled with care and love. He was gone, and it killed her to know that she had played a part in it, by not saying anything.
