Lucy sat in the Gryffindor common room, thinking about how Scorpius had confessed his feelings for her. Lucy knew that she was in love, but that she had to be careful because of her last boyfriend. They had dated for a while,but Lucy felt like they never each other, so she decided to end the relationship. She knew that Scorpius would be different. That he really loved her, but she really didn't know how to tell her family. Or who to tell first.
She looked up and saw Rose sitting beside her. They usually didn't talk unless something was happening in the family. It was because one of them was busy with either school or friends. Lucy knew that she had to start with Rose, maybe James.
Smiling a bit, Lucy said, " Rose, guess what!"
Rose blinked for a couple of seconds. With Lucy it was hard to tell. Because something was always happening. And it was hard to keep up with what was happening."What is it, Lucy, don't leave me in suspense."
Lucy waited a couple of seconds before telling. "Well, Scorpius stopped me in the hallway and confessed that he had feelings for me, And now we are dating ." By the look on Rose's face, it wasn't a good idea to tell her but Lucy expected it This was the reaction that she was expecting from Rose and James.
"Tell me you didn't just say that you was dating Scorpius Malfoy? Please tell me I was just making that up."
Lucy winced a little bit. "No, really, we are dating."
This was the time for Rose to flip out. "Lucy, what are you thinking! Scorpius is sixteen and you are almost thirteen he is a little bit old for you. And another reason: is he is a Malfoy!"
Lucy sighed. "But Rose I really love him. I mean, unlike the last one." I know the last one was just playing me along. Making me believe that he loved me. But Scorpius is for real.
Rose was still upset. "Lucy you are only twelve , going to be thirteen. What do you really know about love?"
Lucy knew that she was going to have to sit through while Rose told her what she was doing was wrong. It was something that always happened when something went wrong. Rose told her that she need to buckle down on her studies, since she was slipping. But she knew the reason that Rose did this was because she loved her.
Rose hugged Lucy. It was like she was accepting the fact that Lucy has fall in love with Scorpius. There wasn't much she could do. "The only reason I am telling you this is because I love you, and I don't want to see you get hurt by Scorpius. I mean, my first year, I had a crush on him. But then I realized how Scorpius acted and , then I got over it."
Lucy knew that everything Rose was saying was for her own good. But she choose not to believe it. "Rose, I really love Scorpius and he said that he wouldn't hurt me. And I believe him."
Rose sighed a little bit. "Lucy, I really hope that you're right. But I still don't like him. And I think James is going to flip out, 'cause you know they don't really get along."
Lucy smiled , she knew that this was better than nothing. "I'm glad you were the first person I told Rose. Now, I just have to face everybody else."
