Turning the corner into the Dungeons, she hummed to herself, breaking the deadly silence. But the silence was broken again as she said the password, "Pureblood," to the statue and the brick wall to get into the Slytherin Common Room.
When Ebony opened the door, she was nearly knocked backwards from the sudden burst of noise, music!
"Just hear those sleigh bells jingle-ing Ring ting tingle-ing too Come on, it's lovely weather For a sleigh ride together with you!"
Ebony laughed and starting singing along, in a beautiful high voice.
"Outside the snow is falling And friends are calling "You Hoo" Come on, it's lovely weather For a sleigh ride together with you!"
The room had an enchantment on it so it was snowing, but not at all cold. She looked around and saw that almost everyone was there now. A Christmas Party?
Ebony smiled wider until she saw Snape come through the wall, his office on the other side screaming. "Turn that down! Knock it off! There are other people in the castle! Get to bed! Study for you Potions Final! Something!"
But his voice was soon lost to the sound of louder music, and Ebony laughed but it was not heard for long. Snape was now running around the room trying to find the source of the music, but there were many.
Ebony Gray sat down on the couch beside Draco and kissed his cheek, singing:
"Our cheeks are nice and rosy and comfy cozy are we We're snuggled up together like two birds of a feather would be Let's take the road before us and sing a chorus or two Come on, it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you!"
She then handed him a small box with a ribbon, it was quite a time before Christmas but decided that he had been a good enough boy, or as good as he can be, for him to have it now. It wasn't his real present of course, a bonus gift.
Inside was a note, a sort of map that went along with the song that fit perfectly as planned. It was her who had suggested the song for this moment. But she didn't think it would be this big. A surprise gift for everyone.
Now all she had to do, was make sure that Hagrid had the horse-like creatures all together and ready to go for when he did open the present. She hadn't decided yet on what creatures she wanted to use, Unicorns, Threastles, Hippogriff, or something else. She let Hagrid decide, but she wandered if that was a wise decision...
