One-Shot - A little fluff involving Jacob Black and my OC, Alex. Review to see if Alex gets more screen time.

Jacob sat fuming at the edge of sea and land and sky. His cliff, his place to be alone. Leah had run away after being so pissed off, she couldn't speak. Now he was alone, finally, and very lonely. He buried his face in his knees and blanked out. Hours or seconds could have passed, but he didn't care. All he knew was that when he snapped back to reality, it was sunset and footsteps were skidding down the scree-covered slope towards him.
"Go away, Leah."
"If I were Leah, I would. But I'm not, so I won't." Alex sat down with her back against the fallen driftwood trunk, stretching her legs easily against san and stones.
They sat like that for hours, just watching the play of the dying sun turn the mare's tails gold and paint a bloody stripe from the horizon to their beach. Alex was silent, not waiting to break the silence, just breathing. Twice he began to cry; quiet, shuddering sobs. Twice she rose and sat next to him, draping one wiry arm over his massive shoulders in a one armed hug. Twice he put both arms around her and cried into her chest and shoulder. Twice she hummed deep in her chest, a low, soft, lullaby melody that both comforted and healed.
Eventually, Jake opened his eyes. Alex was still sitting, back against the tree trunk, at his feet. Her eyes were half shut against the sunset that blazed against the water and flashed green into her eyes, staining them more emerald than the new forest. She was smiling, a sleepy half-smile, wings half-open, tail twitching. Jacob leaned down and shook her shoulder lightly.
"Hm?"
"Thank you."
"Welcome much."
