Chapter 1
One day at Dillion High School Rory is at her locker and gets what she needs for her classes for the day out of it and closes it and watches all the kids in the hall and walks to class and sits down in the back and opens her book. A girl comes up to her.
''Hi.'' a tall pretty girl says
''Hi.'' Rory says
''I'm Lyla Garrity and head cheerleader here at Dillion High.'' Lyla introduces herself
''Oh, Rory. Me. That's - that's me.'' Rory introduces herself
''Rory.'' Lyla says
''Well, Lorelai technically.'' Rory tells her
''Lorelai. That's cool. I like that.'' Lyla tells her being all friendly
''It's my mother's name, too. She named me after herself. She was lying in the hospital thinking about how men name boys after themselves all the time, you know, so why couldn't women? She says her feminism just kind of took over. Though personally I think a lot of Demerol also went into that decision. I never talk this much.'' Rory tells her
''that's okay, so you must be the new girl and be pretty new here to the town of Dillion.'' Lyla says
''oh yea,yea I am my boyfriend is actucally Matt Saracen.'' Rory tells her
''What?'' Lyla questions her
''yea.'' Rory says
''wow he didn't tell us that how long have the two of you been dating?'' Lyla asks her
''um well like since he's been my best friend forever and since we were like 13 when he used to live in my town but moved here to Dillion to live with his grandma and now we just moved here because my step father actucally got a football coaching job here.'' Rory tells her
''oh wow so have you seen him or has he seen you yet?'' Lyla asks her
''oh no,not yet.'' Rory tells her
A few minutes later a fimilar face walks into the room.
''Matt!'' Rory says happily
Matt gasps ''sweetie!'' he says and drops his bag and hugs her tightly.
''finally a filimar face!'' Rory says hugging him tightly
They pull back after a few minutes.
''so are you enjoying your first day here so far?'' he asks her
''I am.'' she tells him
''so I see you met Lyla already.'' he says
''sure did.'' she tells him
