He lets me hold him, he sits and thinks. He must sense my unease for he reaches up and kisses me.
He looks me in the eye, I shiver, and he smiles. I can see hoe fake it is, and he knows, he lets it drop.
He takes my hand and snuggles into my chest. We sit like that for a while until I can no longer stand it.
I look down at him and ask, "did I?". he looks up at me and says, " what's done is done"
He must see my look for he kisses me again and says, "yes you did".
He smiles a real smile and I know that I did.
