America and England Love Hurts
This is my first story on this site. So please don't kill my feelings by putting it down. Thanks. This is a story inspired by the song it hurts to grow up.
America and England are standing in line at a fast food place when England says (to America) "Want a coke? Maybe some fries? But its okay you don't have to pay I've got it." America turns away with tears in his eyes remembering how much he loves England and that he'll never know how much he wants to have him as his big brother again. At that exact moment America runs out of the restaurant saying "I can't live this lie anymore!" He drives to England's house "It's so weird to be back here." Then he grabs a paper from on England's table and writes "You'll never know how much I want you as a brother again. And I know that I've done too many unforgivable things that you wouldn't accept me so good bye England, I'll miss you big brother. ~America" He then sets the paper on the table as he starts to cry.
He runs into the bathroom and slides down the wall. Then he pulls out his gun. He then remembers about back when he was young and how proud England was of him. Then he remembers when England used to drink a bit too much and then when they would drink together and then he loads the gun. At that exact moment England is reading the note he wrote. America puts the gun under his chin as tears are rolling down his face he closes his eyes and remembers the first time that he fought with England it was over something dumb it was a toy a toy of all things.
He gets ready to pull the trigger and England slams down the locked door and slaps away the gun. America not knows who it was reached for the gun as England grabs it he looks up and sees that it's England. Then he curls up in a ball saying "I CAN'T STAND NOT BEING YOUR LITTLE BROTHER! JUST LET ME KILL MY SELF SO I HURT LESS. THEN I'LL BE OUT OF YOUR WAY LIKE YOU WANTED.I JUST MISSES HUGGING YOU AND HAVING YOU TO CALMS ME DOWN WHEN I'M SCARED!" England hugs America saying in a soothing voice "I'm just surprised that I didn't notice this on my own. I was feeling the same way ever since that day." He remembers the day when America got his freedom which he so desperately wanted. "You know we could still be big and little brothers without me controlling everything you do we can still see each other just with a little more freedom." America still barley crying says "really, are you sure? I mean I cause you a lot of pain."
"But it hurts worse to not you around." England says as he starts to cry. "All those years alone I would give anything to be your big brother again." America wipes away England's tears "don't cry big brother it hurts me when you cry." England gets a flash back to hearing those exact words so many years ago when America was just a little colony. England instantly stops crying whipping away his tears and says "I love you little brother." America in shock says "I love you too big brother."
