"Can you play piano?"
Nezumi startled a little. He shrugged his shoulders, mumbled a little, and hid his head and face under a towel, with which he dried his wet hair. The cold drops of water landed on his bare back and made him shiver.
"I mean", Sion continued behind the book he was reading, "you can sing and you have a piano in here."
Nezumi shrugged his shoulders again, but now he stopped moving and looked at the brown piano he had. He turned his head to see Sion, who was still staring at the book, and then the taller man turned his head quickly back to see the instrument. He sighed.
"I can play a little", Nezumi admitted and let his hands drop to his sides, while the towel was still covering his head.
"Could you play something for me?" Sion asked and lifted himself to a better position on the couch. He placed the book on the table in front of him and smiled.
"But you're reading", Nezumi pointed out quietly and coughed. "And I'm not that good."
"Aw, just play something for me!"
Nezumi groaned angrily and sat on the piano's bench. He placed his hands on the white keys and stared at them for a moment, trying to come up with something. Then he breathed and pressed the first key, and then another and another again. His hands learned the rhythm quickly enough and the whole, small apartment-like room filled up with a beautiful piano tone. Nezumi closed his eyes and let the melody go though his mind and body, and he wondered why he hadn't been playing for a long time.
"Sing for me."
And Nezumi did. Sion sat quietly next to him, so their shoulders and knees touched, and he took the towel slowly away from Nezumi's head. His hand travelled to singer's neck and up to his wet, long hair, and, while Nezumi still played, he carefully kissed the bare skin, tasted just washed taste. And when the melody stopped, came to its end, Sion moved Nezumi's hair so he could see the blushed face. Their eyes met and Sion smiled, leaning a little closer, and Nezumi tried to hide his embarrassment behind an unwilling expression - but he still joined to the kiss they shared.
"Is this necessary?" he asked when they parted.
Sion smiled even widely. "You can play tough around everyone else, but I kind of enjoy seeing you like that."
Nezumi blushed up to his ears and threw the towel at the laughingly escaping Sion. They were maybe lovers, but Nezumi wasn't ready for all that yet. It was too much so suddenly. He looked at Sion, who was back to his reading, and smiled. Well, that airhead made him really happy, so maybe he'll get used to it.
