The train was almost empty. It was the end of rush hour only a woman and her son besides Grimmjow sat in the train. Shifting Grimmjow looked outside it had been a whole year since deployment. Even though there was video calling and all the other technology it wasn't the same as holding a person and feeling the person. As the scenery passed by Grimmjow felt like his journey would end he would hold his kids and kiss Ichigo. Smiling to himself he thought about Ichigo he hated having to leave after his youngest daughter's birth.
Ichigo sat his cup of hot tea was cold now. His children where off around the house running his had he through his hair he sighed. He was tired but he has been tired for a long time he missed Grimmjow he missed his kisses and his crazy 'let's-have-sex-everywhere' attitude but Ichigo knew he changed. He remembered the conversation with Yoruichi "Ichigo wars change people, sometimes the bad but for the good." Ichigo looked out the window before looking at his tea "Grimm please, come home" he whispered.
Grimmjow walked through the streets getting a few stares and a few kids saluting him. Grimmjow didn't want to take a cab he wanted to walk like when he used to walk to Ichigo's house. As he walked his mind was a storm thinking about his kids his princess the now four year old Tsuki, the three year old total opposite twins Tenshou and Zangetsu then of course his baby girl Masaki. He picked up his pace a few people recognized him and smiled a few shook his hand and said 'welcome home'. As he made it to his house he stood before a hand patted him "Go on big guy they miss you" He turned towards the cat woman, Yoruichi who had become Ichigo's surrogate mother grinned as she pushed me forward. Grimmjow walked in the hallway Tsuki and the twins dropped what they were doing and bounded over to their father.
Ichigo was lost in his thoughts when he notice his kids run towards a figure in the front hall. As Ichigo looked up and saw the blue hair Ichigo grew to love with their kids holding him tightly. Standing slowly Ichigo ran towards Grimmjow and kissed him . He pulled his arms around Ichigo as they kissed and wiped the tears that fell endlessly form the younger males face. He had that grin on his face Ichigo smiled and touched him "I am home, Ichigo" He said and Ichigo smiled laughing with a few tears coming down his face "welcome home, Grimmjow" Ichigo spoke hugging him.
A/N: This was sort of bad sorry but it is a drabble so yeah. I have always have thought of Yoruichi being a surrogate mother to Ichigo in a way. Review Comment? Based off of One Republic's 'Come Home'.
