A Poem for Sparda
What were you thinking that day?
What were you thinking that day?
When you went and took up your Sword for the sake of the human way.
What were you thinking that day?
When you fought your king
And the blood rushing from your head wounds made your ears ring
And there were no people to sing
What were you thinking that day?
And when you gave up your powers
And walked among this world of ours
And you brought peace to us all
What were you thinking that day?
And as you settled down with your new family
Drinking your morning tea
With the twins at one side and Eva at the other
What were you thinking that day?
And as the sun went down to touch the ground
Smiles were spread around
And night replaced the day
I think you were at peace that day.
