Antonio thought back to the girl he left at home. Surely Lovi was still waiting for him, with her sassy attitude and adorable pouts. It was really unfortunate that he may never see her ever again. Yes, it was very unfortunate.

The former captain closed his eyes as a dirty scoundrel grabbed his tied up wrists and dragged him into a small but well furnished room. There was a desk filled with things from a dagger, to random trinkets to a glass of blood red wine. Behind the desk- on a chair with gold carvings and silver fixtures- sat Captain Arthur Kirkland, Antonio's sworn enemy.

The same man who sunk Antonio's ship just a few hours ago.

This man now held him captive, looking at him with a predatory grin. Even though Antonio's eyes were still closed, he knew the grin was there- that the man was there. It had always been there. Even when facing death, he knew Kirkland's evil face would still be smiling as if he had all the treasures in the world.

Antonio heard the door shut behind him, and he felt rather than knew that there were only the two of them in the room.

"Well, well, well," Kirkland's voice drawled out, and his chair groaned, and he could almost imagine Kirkland lean forward", it seems I finally caught you, Captain Carriedo."

"I would rather have died with my crew," Antonio sneered, his eyes still closed. He refused to even look at the man who sunk his ship- who sunk the Singing Senorita and killed every member of his crew- but not before Kirkland's crew had their way with them. And all of this Antonio was forced to watch.

"I think you're rather lucky, Captain Carriedo," Kirkland said, and the chair screeched as he stood up", because unlike your crew, I chose not to let those dirty brutes out there touch you."

There was such a malicious undertone in his words that Antonio finally felt compelled to open his eyes. Kirkland's predatory grin was there, as he expected, but there was also a lustful glint in his eyes that made Antonio take a step back. This only served to make Kirkland's grin wider.

"What's wrong, Captain Carriedo?" Kirkland said mockingly, stepping closer", is something the matter?"

Slowly being taken over by fear, Antonio took a couple more steps back until he could feel the door behind him. Fear made his legs weak, and he felt like nothing more than a prey under his predator's gaze.

"Don't be so scared, Captain," Kirkland said, still advancing", I do this every time I sink a ship. I know what I'm doing."

Antonio tried to swallow the lump in his throat, staring at Kirkland with wide green eyes filled with complete and utter fear.

Kirkland's hands shot up and he grabbed Antonio's hair. He pulled it back and Antonio's head bumped against the wood painfully, and he grimaced. Kirkland's piercing green eyes took in every detail of Antonio's pained face, and he licked his lips in anticipation.

"Not bad," Kirkland's voice was but a lustful whisper, as his lips hovered above Antonio's", I might just keep you."

Suddenly Antonio was flung to the floor, and he sat there slightly dazed, until Kirkland pointed a gun at the side of his head. He had situated himself on top of him, standing on his knees and he grinned down upon him. He jerked his hand once, knocking the gun slightly on Antonio's head.

"I did this when I sunk the Magnifique Mademoiselle," Kirkland said as Antonio fumbled with the buckles of Kirkland's pants", I did this when I raided the seaside kingdom of Sakura."

Francis. He was talking about Francis Bonnefoy. The Magnifique Mademoiselle was his ship…

Antonio's mind was in a flurry as thoughts of his friend came rushing in. He had heard rumours that it was Kirkland who sunk his ship but he never believed them… not until now.

"What did you do to Francis?" Antonio whispered fearfully, daring to look up at Kirkland's face.

Kirkland smirked, shaking a finger at him", ah ah ah, you don't get to ask questions, Tonio. Now…" he used the same finger to push Antonio's face back down, and he became face to face with Kirkland's partly bulging erection.

"Suck."

Without thinking, Antonio slipped the whole thing into his mouth, coating it with saliva and sucking gently, even as his mind screamed at him to stop, and to end the disgusting thing he was doing. Kirkland let out a small appreciative groan, and pushed his gun against Antonio's head, willing him to suck harder.

Tears streamed down Antonio's face, but still he sucked, almost chocking in the process. Finally Kirkland pulled away and stood up, and Antonio gasped, sputtering and trying to spit out whatever was left in his mouth. But his hair was pulled back painfully once again, and he was flung down hard on the wooden floor, landing face first.

He shouted in hurt and surprise, but his hands were tied and he could barely move. Kirkland had dropped his gun and he pulled Antonio's pants down roughly.

"I did this when I happened by a private English ship," Kirkland's voice was hoarse with need, and he roughly pushed himself inside Antonio, who cried out in surprise and pain", and very soon, I might be doing this to the Fraulein."

Gilbert… Gilbert's ship will be next… Gil-…

Antonio's nails dug into his palms and his teeth grinded together as he kept himself from screaming, knowing it was useless, and his salty tears fell on the hard wooden floor unchecked. Kirkland pushed, going faster and faster. Finally he came, and the whole room stilled.

Kirkland pulled away, and Antonio lied on the floor, feeling numb. But the pirate wouldn't let him rest, as he pulled Antonio to his feet as soon as his pants were in place. Kirkland busied himself with trying to fix Antonio's clothes. The latter was still trying to process what had just occurred, and was trying not to break down.

"Come now," Kirkland said in a gentle but commanding voice", I'll be taking you to the others."

Kirkland held Antonio by the wrists, leading him around the desk and behind the chair, in which a slightly small door was hidden from normal view. They went through the door and entered a short corridor leading to another door.

The pirate captain knocked twice before entering, pulling Antonio behind him. The latter looked around, and felt his heart constrict.

The room was of medium size, with a rather large bed off to one side, a closet and a wall length mirror to the other. In the farthest corner of the bed was a young, Asian boy who trembled at the sight of Kirkland, but looked utterly piteous when he laid his deep brown eyes on Antonio. On the other side of the bed was Antonio's lost friend, Francis, who looked so different he almost didn't recognize him.

Francis Bonnefoy was a proud and good natured man. What stood before them was a broken and sorrowful shell of his former self. Francis' blue eyes had lost all its joyous lustre, replaced by a dull, glazed look, and he resembled a frail young girl in a silk night gown, if anything else. When Francis caught sight of Kirkland, however, a small light seem to appear in his eyes. He smiled softly and had stood up to meet him.

Kirkland abandoned Antonio by the door in favour of wrapping his arms around Francis, who seemed to have grown shorter- if that was possible- as he was directly face to face with him. Francis pulled Arthur closer, connecting their lips. He let Arthur dominate the kiss entirely, letting the man's tongue enter and explore every inch of his mouth, and Arthur's gloved hands pushed them closer to each other.

After a long while Arthur pulled away, smirking and stroking Francis' neatly brushed hair", Hello there, poppet."

"Arthur," Francis said breathlessly, leaning unto him and doing nothing else.

Arthur chuckled and pulled Francis back", I have another one here. I think he was your friend, back before."

He left without another word, untying Antonio in one swift movement. For a long while Antonio and Francis stared at each other, both trying to recognize the other. They knew they had met before, but it was as if they had only met in a dream, because the circumstances were so different from the reality they were tossed in.

"Francis…" Antonio held back tears at the sorry state his friend was in", Francis… what happened… to you?"

At this Francis broke down and sobbed, reaching for the edge of the bed for support. Antonio knelt beside him, trying to comfort him even though he was crying himself. Francis took comfort in hugging him, and before long the Asian boy had crept from his corner, curious or pitying Antonio wasn't sure.

"Je suis désolé, Toni," Francis sobbed", I'm very very sorry! I'm sorry you had to see me like this. I'm sorry I have become this…"

"Shh," Antonio soothed, ignoring the tears running down his own face", its okay, Francis. You don't have to be sorry. I understand…"

Francis released himself from the hug and curled up upon himself, shaking his head", Non, mon ami. You don't understand… not completely…"

Antonio wanted to ask why. He wanted to know what Francis meant. But his friend looked so broken and filled with internal conflict that he decided not to press into the matter. He looked around and his eyes fell on the young Asian, who stared back expressionlessly, his black hair slightly covering his equally emotionless eyes.

"My name is Kiku," the boy said suddenly, and Antonio blinked in surprise", my name is Kiku Honda, prince of the kingdom of Sakura."

So that was what he meant... such a young prince…

"I'm Ca-… Antonio," Antonio said after a moment", Antonio Fernandez Carriedo."

Suddenly, Antonio remembered something. Something Arthur had mentioned during… that. He had mentioned the seaside kingdom of Sakura, the Magnifique Mademoiselle, a private English ship… and the Fraulen. He had mentioned going after the Fraulen.

"Gilbert…" Antonio murmured, making Francis' head look up and turn to him.

"Why, Toni?" Francis asked fearfully", what happened to Gilbert?"

Antonio shook his head", it's not what happened, Francis. It's what going to happen… Kirkland mentioned going after the Fraulen. He'll be after Gilbert next."

Francis looked completely horrified", non," he said, then more urgently", non, non, non… he couldn't have went on with his plan… he won't… if they would… Gilbert will be broken…"

"What plan?" Antonio asked, at once fearing for his friend", what plan are you talking about?"

Francis shook his head, not wanting to meet Antonio's eyes", Arthur… he mentioned meeting a private English ship, oui? Well… he- it was a while after he… he caught me. He took in two brothers- they were quite grown… and they always talked about the Fraulen at length… I overheard them once-… non… it's too horrible…"

Antonio tried to coax him into saying more, but Francis had become silent all of a sudden. Finally he gave up and took a seat beside Kiku, who simply stared at him.

"Were you a pirate, like him?" Kiku asked out of the blue, pointing a finger at Francis, who was quietly all by himself in the farthest corner of the bed.

Antonio nodded, hugging his knees", I was… I'm not sure I still am at this rate."

Kiku nodded, staring at Francis before asking another question", what was he like?"

Antonio glanced at him, asking", who?"

"Francis… what was he like, before he got here?" Kiku elaborated, though he seemed to be hesitating", forgive me if I seem too bland… I haven't spoken with anyone else for a long time…"

Antonio managed to give him a small smile, and whispered", it's okay. I don't usually care for politeness myself. As for your question, Francis was a very strong man. He was even stronger than me. He was also quite big, and he never took orders from anybody! He was always fooling around with girls, and he always had my and Gilbert's back… at least that's how I remember him."

"I see," Kiku nodded. He glanced at Francis, who seemed to have fallen asleep, and spoke quietly", do you suppose he still has some of that strength?"

Antonio stared at Francis' sleeping form, trying to come to a decisive answer. Finally he shrugged and said", I don't know…"

Kiku didn't speak, and they simply sat in silence until they too fell asleep. None of them were aware of the one instance that Arthur peaked into the room, gazing in both content and something close to hate at Antonio and Kiku, before staring fondly- and with a hint of longing- at Francis, who murmured his name in his sleep.

And the Faerie Siren sailed on in the deep, lonely sea.

Oh sh*t I think I broke Francis… Shall we continue and find out what they have planned for Gilbert?

(Hell yeah…)
