She was just a bystander, a stranger in the streets walking by. But he noticed her, her blonde long hair, and her brown eyes that remind him of chocolate.
He saw her in the distance, but he didn't mind her. Her golden hair was beautiful, but he didn't notice the beauty of hair color. But he did notice her beautiful, twinkling chocolate eyes. He also did notice one detail; they held loneliness.
So he did something a stranger would found creepy; he asked her to have lunch with him.
"Hey, Blondie," he called. The blonde slowly turned around, looking startled. The way she titled her head in a confuse manner, he found it cute. He never notice cute thing in someone, especially if this someone is a girl. He found his little blue cat cute sometimes, but he never found a cute girl like her. He couldn't stop the grin that threatening to slit his face.
For a moment, he was fascinated to her golden locks gracefully dancing with the autumn breeze behind her. But he shook it away.
"Wanna have lunch with me?"
It was a surprise that Lucy—he soon found out her name—accepted his offer. And it surprised him that she smiled at him whole-heartedly. He felt relief that the loneliness in her eyes were gone. Finally gone. He felt another grin. He couldn't just help but be happy with her.
He found out things about her while they were having lunch. She loved collecting key chains (mostly cats) and hanged them on her pink phone. She loved the color pink, and found his salmon (as he emphasized and corrected her) hair cute, basically all her stuff were pink. She loved the stars, and asked him to join her star-gazing sometimes. She told him all about the stars and zodiac signs you could see up there. While talking about the stars, he mostly zoned out and watched how her pink lips moved. He was guilty that he wasn't listening. He was listening, but her words just went out of his other ear. He was too fascinated with her lips and how her eyes twinkled in delight as she talked about her stars.
Their lunch date (self-proclaimed by him) was ending too fast for his liking, so he racked his head for another reason for her to stay. Leaving her alone left a bitter taste in his mouth.
"How about dessert?" he hinted with a small smile, "We could some ice cream?" His smile widen in a hopeful way. His onyx eyes watched her as she bit down her lip, thinking whether to go with him or not.
"Sure, why not?" Her melodic voice rang in his ears. Delighted with her answer, he started to stand up and started to talk about his favourite ice cream parlor. "I knew a good ice cream store by this street."
They walked side by side, and Natsu decided he liked being with her.
And he decided he'd do anything and everything to drive away her loneliness and make her the happiest girl.
He smiled at the thought, watching the blonde laughed and smiled and be happy.
Natsu was surprised that he was contented just by watching and knowing that this girl was finally smiling.
WHADDA U THINK?
Short, I know. But this is based on the new ending song. I just have to write about it. It affects my feelings whenever I watched it. AND I JUST HAVE TO WATCH IT. Review please!
Bye, Lady A.
