Earth.
A simple name for a simple planet.A name for an old planet, a rich planet, a legendary planet.A planet home to some of the most dauntless and fearsome life forms ever to be envisioned.A planet of vastly different lands and a greatly remarkable and unique history that the planet alone holds.
The life forms that inhabit it are the'Humans'; known for their power and resourcefulness, andtheir history – in past, present and future – is an interesting tale.
The Earth is magnificent. Compared to the age of the universe and solar system it revolves in, it is a precocious planet; achieving and creating so much in the short time of creation to evolved, intelligent life.
The planet has entered and exited numerous cycles of life, and suffered from catastrophes as much as it had prospered and evolved. And as such the planet is used by the wider galaxy as an example of success and perseverance. But that was not always the case.
There was a time when Earth was seen as a target for resources; scrap and labour forces of millions. It was a rock to be exploited, a body to be raped, a person to be enslaved by those who wanted the take the light from the world – the Izosids.
But the people of this planet managed to fight back their oppressors and drove back the darkness that had eclipsed the Earth and brought back the light. The people revolted through the leadership of their protectors; the Holders of the Keys of Power – which allowed them to increase the range of the power of themselves and the human race beyond what they thought imaginable.
Through the Holder's actions, the humans quelled the advancing Izosids and managed to maintain the peace of their planet. These Holders have become the Great Legends of Earth.
Though how they became such figures, was a tumultuous and inspiring journey. A journey that no one was expecting.A journeyof human evils as much as alien.
This is their journey of the Power Rangers.
Hello new and old readers! Welcome to my take on a Power Rangers fic. Hope you like it, I know I will :P
With the recent news of a 'reboot' for the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers coming to us as a movie from Lionsgate and Saban, I thought now was as good a time as any for a stab at my own team. I was so giddy by the news I was jump-started into at least beginning this fic. God knows how many others will do the same.
I loved Power Rangers as a child, it still remains as a major influence in my life to this day. I gained my love of colours, superheroes and action from Power Rangers, so I have much to thank the American-lifted Japanese show for.
And the only way I can show my dearest thanks is to write a fictitious rendering of it on a website.
'Cause I'm a 21st Century fan. (Even if I do think it's a really silly show now)
