This is another thing I wrote when I was in middle school. Let me know if I should continue it. Because I can't decide. ^ ^; I do not own Yugioh. It is owned by the person who made it.

Prologue

Yami walked slowly through the forest as he thought about his biggest problem. Hotaru. How would he admit his feelings for her if he couldn't even admit them to himself? He walked into a clearing. The clearing where he'd first met Hotaru.....

Running as fast as he could, Yami tripped on a tree root. Cursing in fluent Egyptian he ran on toward the lake. He had to get to the Sacred Lake! Maybe the monsters after him wouldn't follow him there. The guardian of the lake could help....if she wanted to. Yami had never seen the guardian of the lake before and he imagined a terrible sea monster rising up out of the lake and eating him hole. Bursting through the trees Yami found the lake he was looking for. Running to the shoreline he got down on his hands and knees and began chanting. "Please, Guardian of the lake, help me! Help me to escape the monsters after me! They wish to kill me!Please! Help!" He called out as a spout of water shot up next to him. Fear ran through him as he scrambled away. A young girl that looked like a mixture between a human and a fox appeared from the water. Long, flowing brown hair cascaded down her shoulders. Big, innocent blue eyes looked at him from under a curtain of bangs. A long, flowing silk gown of cerulean fell to the ground, and was picked up in the wind. Her ears twitched and her tail flicked back and forth like she was anxious. The monsters burst through the trees and Yami prepared his body for the impact. But it never came. Opening his eyes Yami found the guardian huddled around him, looking up. Looking up himself, Yami found he was underwater and the creatures were jumping in. Just as the second one hit the surface, the guardian whistled. A large group of sharks appeared and devoured the creatures. He watched in shock. SO the stories were true! There really is a guardian of the lake! And sharks really did live in the lake! He'd heard many stories from people, of their friends being taken by sharks while they were swimming, but he'd never believed! After they were done with the monsters, the sharks began to circle them. Fear instantly struck him. If he did something wrong, or if the guardian stopped protecting him, he'd end up like the monsters had! A midday snack! And that fear must have shown on his face.

"Do not be afraid. I will not let them harm you."

It took him a second to realize the voice had come from the girl next to him. It was a very soothing voice.

That's all I've got. ^ ^; Should I continue it? Or should I drop it? I need some opinions! Let me know! Thanks! :3
