Chapter 1

It was a beautiful day over the Mystic Ruins as the sun shined down and the skies were blue above with very little clouds. The fields and the forest seemed pretty peaceful, however the peacefullness did not last for long. A voice sounded in the air which alarted a spikey blue hedgehog who happened to be enjoying the peace and quiet that the Mystic Ruins had to offer.

The blue hedgehog jumped to his feet after hearing the voice and he groaned, "not again, I'd better go now, before she sees me," Sonic muttered to himself and got his feet ready so he could zoom off.

He spotted the owner of the voice not too far away in the distant, he slightly panicked as she began to pick her pace at finally seeing him. "SONIC!" She yelled.

She just reached him as he sped off with a trail of dust behind him, she coughed up a storm as he turned as he was a bit further away, "sorry Ames, gotta jet!" He yelled with a wave as he went a bit faster.

Amy pouted and angrilly kicked a small rock near her, "oooo, he always does that and I just wanted to talk to him!" She said as she sighed sadly and began to walk back the way she came, feeling a bit discouraged.

The pink hedgehog was heading to a little chao garden that Cream had showed her, she started to go there when she had nothing to do or was feeling down and the chao were always fun to play with. As she neared the garden a feeling of being watched came over her and she started to look around herself.

"Um, h-hello is anyone there?!" She uttered out.

Suddenly something caught her eye as she passed some tree's, it was her own reflection, "huh, w-what the..?!" Amy paused in her walking to gaze over herself.

"W-what's a mirror d-doing here?!" She questioned as she cautiously approached it.

The mirror suddenly opened slightly and Amy had to cover her eyes since the light behind it was so bright, Amy was soon able to remove her hands and approach it. Her hands trailed the side of the mirror and she slowly started to pull it open further.

The light shined brighter but she was able to keep her eyes open as she stepped through, curious to know as to what would be behind it. As she stepped further into the light the white light disappeared and what she saw before her shocked her greatly.

Amy's mouth hung open "Whao..."

In front of her was a field full of flowers of many different kinds and colours, many hills went up and down the land and a gentle breeze was blowing through her quills. Amy began to take a walk through being very careful so not to crush any of the beautiful flowers.

The hedgehog was about to turn and head back to the door but a voice called out to her, "your finally here, I've been waiting for you!"

Amy gasped as she whirled around expecting to see someone but there was know one there, but she felt a tap on her shoulder and she twirled round again only to come face to face with a very handsome hedgehog he was a white with a tint of red on his quills, his eyes were crystal blue and his quills were quite messy.

Amy could only stare at him in awe, as he bowed his head "I so happy you're finally here, miss Rose."

Amy blinked a few times to make sure she wasn't seeing things, the hedgehog chuckled at her expression, "my name is Blake the hedgehog, in case you were wondering?"

Amy shook herself "I-I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to stare."

Blake waved his hand and gave her a smile "I know this is a lot to take in. And I suspect you have questions?"

The pink hedgehog nodded "well, as a matter of fact I do, how, how do you know my name?"

Blake stopped walking around her, "I been watching you."

Amy eyes went wide "watching me?!"

The white hedgehog nodded "from a very young age and up until now, think of me as your guardian angel of sorts and this place right here I built exactly for you!" Blake yelled the last part as he extended his arms showing Amy all around the area.

The pink hedgehog couldn't have been more confused, "how could you build this place?"

Blake turned to her and smirked when his hands lit up using chaos energy power, "with the power of chaos. You see Amy, you've went through many hardships through your life, I felt like you've deserved a better place to live away from those people who reject you, like a blue hedgehog for example!"

Amy sighed at the mention of Sonic, Blake nodded at her reaction, "don't worry my dear, he won't bother you any more, not when you are able to come here!" Blake said as he handed her a key that was all colourful. "With this key, you are able to come and go as you please through here,"

Amy stared in awe at the beauty of it, Blake levitated the key in his hands as and a green aura of sorts circled it and turned the key into a necklace which fit itself around Amy's neck. Blake smiled as Amy gazed over it "whao, I can come here whenever I want?"

"Of course."

"What can I do in this place?" Amy asked as she began walking some more and Blake followed behind.

"Anything you want, can you think of any place you'd like to be right now or doing something that you'd like to do?" Asked Blake as he used the chaos energy power with his hand.

Amy raised her eyes and thought for a moment, "well, I'd like to go to the beach."

Blake nodded "the beach huh? Very well," the white hedgehog flicked his wrist as the chaos power lit up more and the scenery around them changed to a blue ocean and a sandy beach. Amy was shocked.

"Wow, that was so weird." She exclaimed.

"Would you like to enjoy this beach, we could have a pick nick?" Suggested Blake.

Amy gasped again as a pair of sunbeds, a pick nick blanket and a pick nick basket appeared before them, she beamed at the sight and sat down and Blake followed suit. The pair enjoyed the beach until the sunset and moon appeared in the sky, "hm, it's getting late I'd better head home, do you want to come to my house?" Asked Amy as she watched the stars.

Blake shook his head, "I'm sorry but I cannot leave here, but your welcome to come back any time you feel you don't have a place to go."

"Oh, okay, I'll come back and see you tomorrow," said Amy.

"I'm looking forward to it, allow me to escort you to the exit," Blake flicked his wrist and it lit up again and the scenery changed back to the field. Blake opened the back of the mirror where Amy had entered and a white light shown through. Amy covered her eyes but she was soon able to open them, she turned to the white hedgehog, "um how can I find this mirror again?"

"It will always be in the same, as you arrive in the area of where it is, think of the mirror and how much you want to go there and it shall appear before you and only you. You can then use that key to unlock it," Blake explained.

Amy smiled and nodded "thank you Blake, I'll will come and see you tomorrow."

"Your quite welcome, and again I look forward to seeing you." Blake bowed, but he was surprise when Amy suddenly hugged him, his eyes went wide and he placed an arm her waist. Amy soon let go and entered the white light where she was returned to were she was before. Amy looked around and could not see the mirror any more. She sighed and walked home unaware that Blake was watching her.
