Light of a Vegas Moon

                An intimate conversation

                                Over breakfast,

                Could someday morph into the saying of

                                "I love you."

                Toasted, unbuttered bagel side-by-side

                With fluffy eggs, yellow and scrambled.

                                Tomatoes diced,

                                                All arranged artfully upon

                Blue china.

                If  we had it our way,

                There would be many intimate breakfasts,

                                Friendly touches,

                And more than a 'depth of understanding' alone.

                                Ahh…..

                                                There would be music.

                Pucchini in our heads,

                As two lovers

                                                Danced,

                With eyes of blue,

                                By the light

                                                Of a Vegas moon.
