Percy, in New Rome, has received a vision that the Argo II, with Jason & Annabeth on board, is about to land in Camp Jupiter. Percy decides to pretend he's still having his Hera-related amnesia to make his upcoming reunion with Annabeth more romantic. He tags up with Reyna and heads to the Pomerium. Reyna seems to be a bit joyed, being so close to Percy, but she knows Percy will never love her and he already rejected her for Annabeth. Percy & Reyna go to the approaching Graceus together, like two full-blood preators.
Percy looks at the massive trirem slowly descending go the ground. He takes a complete emotionless look and stands next to Reyna.

Terminus has completely disrupted Annabeth's plans. He has just explained the reasons of his explosive appearance when she sees Percy. He's wearing a purple cape, like a preator, walking to the Pomerium next to a girl with that same purple cape. Maybe the other preator? Annabeth decides to descend to New Rome using the rope ladder, unarmed. Terminus agrees and flashes away.

Once the four Graceus are landed in the camp, Reyna takes the lead and welcomes Jason back home. Jason steps forward and says he's happy to be back when Annabeth loses her patience and rushes for Percy. Percy doesn't seem to make a move, but Annabeth is unstoppable. She hangs onto him and tries to kiss him, but Percy moves away from her like she's a disturbing mosquito. His reaction points to a horrible cause: he's still having the amnesia given by Hera.
He turns to Jason, who he never saw before: "How dare you, Jason Grace, the once so proud preator of Camp Jupiter, come back with a bunch of terrible Graceus!" Percy looks at Annabeth without any signs of love and wants to turn his back on her.
Annabeth nearly starts crying. She embraces Percy while shouting his name, desperately trying to refresh his memory. Then, out of nothing, Percy takes her chin and looks at her as emotionlessly as he was the last 5 minutes. And then, he kisses her.
