Chapter 1

It's been two years since I left home and now I have decided to return, but I keep wondering is this a good thing to do? Should I move home? I'm Amy Juergens. I used to live in Valley View, California up until I was fifteen. It was a hard decision choosing to leave my home, but I did. You see, the reason why I ran away from home was because I was pregnant. I didn't want anybody to find out and I especially didn't want to face the one who had made this happen.

I was foolish; it was a night at band camp that got a little carried away, okay not a little, but a lot. I didn't mean for it to happen, but it did and I regret it in some ways, but then again I think if that never happened I wouldn't have my little girl.

I had found out a couple weeks into school that I was pregnant and around that time I had begun to date Ben, who isn't the father of my baby. It was hard to leave Ben, even though we hadn't been dating for long I knew that I loved him and he'd told me that he loved me on several occasions. It was hard leaving my boyfriend, but I made it though.

The only person who knows why I left and where I went to is my younger sister, Ashley. We've kept in contact over email for the past two years. I miss my family so much and I know that they miss me from what Ashley has told me. She said it was horrible; that when mum and dad weren't fighting that all they'd do was missing me. I saddened me to know that I was probably the one who caused their fighting and I know that I was the one who caused their hurt.

Dear Amy,

Hey how are you? I can't wait till you come home! I have kept my promise and haven't told anyone that you are coming home, even though I desperately wish I could. I have found an apartment for you like you asked. The pictures of the apartment are in the attachment along with details. If you like it I can put a bid on it. I hope it's in the right price range for you. I wasn't sure if you had enough money to pay for an apartment, but I thought since you asked me to look for you I had guessed that you did. Is the apartment in your budget? I could always look for another one. Anyways, just email me back when you get this email. I have to go now mum's coming.

Hey Ash,

I'm great thanks for asking. Isobel is doing well. I have some new pictures of her that I'm sure you'd like to see. I've put them in the attachment. Don't worry about the apartment, its fine and I love it! I even asked Isobel if she liked it and she said that she did. So, if you don't mind you can put an offer on it. Can you ask them if it's alright if I pay by check and if I can pay when I move back here? That is if I do get the apartment.

It's currently only two days till I catch the flight that will led me back to where I grew up.

So, I came up with this idea when I was watching secret life and thought it would make a good story. This chapter is basically an introduction. I also put the email in, to fill up space and you also got to see that Amy has a great relationship with her sister even though she left. I'm also sorry that its short, but future chapters should be longer
